Why are fans and boxers thinking like that? Sure ask for a lot of money but don't price yourself out.

Lets say he gets KO'd cold. So what. He can continue to fight again. He can make $300K - $750K fighting other contenders. Doing what else is he going to make that money? Imagine if Charlo would move up from LMW to fight Jacobs - wouldn't that be a great fight that'd sell well?

Jacobs can hurt anyone with the right punch or the right one-two combo.

The most challenging fights for GGG right now are Ramirez, Jacobs/Degale/Canelo (can't separate them really without seeing it), and Eubank jr, in that order, because those guys all have athleticism and power, like Brook had, much more than someone like Saunders who GGG would just walk through. I hope we see one of those fights before GGG gets any older because I do worry no one good will fight him until he's truly passed his prime, then his speed will go and he won't be able to connect with the power early in the fight, then his stamina will go and he will gas, and then he will get lit up and lose, and all the haters will come out saying "see I knew he ******. I had to wait a decade to prove it, but I knew it! The first time he fought the elite level, he lost." Well yeah if no one elite would step up to fight him until he was clearly passed it, then it's obviously quite possible for him to lose that first fight.

That's why I think Loeffler would have been smart to get that legacy fight when he was 32 or younger, whatever the money, and just shut those doubters up. Let GGG prove that in his prime, he was elite, and then if he does end up losing when he's 36, 37, 38, people will at least know the truth that he aged like every other offensive fighter does in his 30s.

But those are the fights I want. Ramirez is extremely dangerous, they better do that before GGG gets old even if he wins the fight, he will be old by the time it's over. Degale is a versatile much bigger guy. Jacobs two huge punchers, speed and power vs less speed and insane power. Canelo extremely snappy powerful punches and a good chin. Those are the fights to make. Saunders would be good for like the Monte Carlo fight. That's the kind of fight that is, Martin Murray part 2. The other fights are real, dangerous matches against athletic guys. None are actually "dangerous" so long as GGG is in his prime, he would sweep every round in his prime, but at 34 almost 35, we don't know that's the case, so they should make those asap.
Of all of those the only threat is Ramirez.

How is jacobs a bum? don't be idiotic. He has 1 loss on his record and beat Quillen in a round. Maybe not elite but far far far from being a bum.

I doubt you'll agree, but I thought that K2 should've never kept repeating "160, or no fight." It would've been worth the risk to fight Canelo @ 155! Some say Canelo would've still walked away, but at least we'd know. Now GGG has to wait for Canelo! In the meantime, I think Lara and Jacobs are great fights @ 160. After last night, I wouldn't recommend moving up to 168 until after a fight with Canelo!
Can't see GGG getting past Ramirez after last night. I know he'd try to box him but Ramirez can box a fair bit himself - plus he has ridiculous reach and height advantage, especially reach. DeGale would out box him and his shots would be a lot harder than Brooks.
I say GGG stays at 160 and secures his legacy with another 5/6 fights. Imagine if he retired undefeated with 30 KOs in a row and record number of MW defenses. First Ballot hall of famer right there. Would need to clear out MW though and hopefully face Canelo.

GGG beats Jacobs in Vegas or New York in an easy stoppage

GGG is not invincible and will get beat by a bigger boxer soon
GGG is a great fighter but not some machine that cannot be beaten and stopped. Probably a Gilberto or even a DeGale beats GGG down the road. It's all about money anyway and GGG just does not make much money. Saunders would lose to GGG but would pay some cash. Jacobs in NYC is a nice payday. Titles mean squat it's the cash that sings the loudest. amazing how trhe shrimps mini kids half pints midgets like felon Floyd and greasy Manny make the big cash? go figure?

Jacobs already stated that he wants 8 million to fight GGG. This match isn't happening because Jacobs isn't reasonable when it comes to a purse.

I can't even see him beating Badou Jack if he fought like he did last night. I think "Porky" Medina would give GGG problems at 168. The punches that I see that consistently land on GGG, straight rights and uppercuts, would be devastating if they were being thrown by Jack or Medina. I haven't seen enough of Zurdo to make a predicition.

You already gotta down play Jacobs so not to give GGG any credit when he beats him. Jacobs only loss is against Pirog right before he found out he had cancer.

If you don't know boxing, just shut the **** up. Good grief some of these keyboard commentators are dumb as ****.

Jacobs isn't a bum. You'd have to be a idiot to believe he is.

Both sides said weight was never discussed. Canelo pulled away before it got that far.

He'd beat up both DeGeale and Ramirez. Badou Jack would be a tougher opponent.

The biggest fight for GGG at this time because Canelo is another fight away. GGG won't fight Lara and I think jacobs is a way better match up than Eubank or Saunders. This is a fight everyone would love to see. Before GGG vs canelo. Maybe if Ward beats Kovalev GGG would grow a pair and go fight ward at 175. If brook and Kahn can do it what's his excuse?
What? I think it does similar numbers for half the cost. Around 1.5 million I think. Don't get me wrong it's a competitive fight I just dont think its going to draw that much more fan interest than ggg wade. I mean Jacob quillen only did 350k viewers I doubt he have a huge following.

I do want to see him fight ward so I'm not sure why your asking me that question. My reasons are different from most of the haters here though that only wants to see him lose. I just want to see ggg tested.
