Fall starts in a few weeks. Most television series begin in the 2nd or 3rd week of September.

Obviously we all want to see boxers well compensated for their blood sweat and tears, but over paying for crap fights is detrimental to the sport. You can see that now with average fighters wanting millions for fights.

networks never cared for boxing nor are they willing to pay the premium haymon has promoised his figthers he can get and showtime cant buy all the fights so majority will be shelved.

put it this way bro....I go to my home gym everyday and see pros and AMs put in work just to hear do nothings like you with an opinion about a topic you never experienced or know very little about

since the beginning of boxing they were over paid, and fought far too often. The average boxer may see 20k out of a 100k purse so imagine what the club fighters and fringe guys take home, only to fight again on short notice because they weren't paid enough


a handful of overpaid fighters don't overshadow that 90% of fighters end up with little to nothing after their careers are over

these fighters are human......if you were around fighters more often and heard things from their perspective you'd have a different out look

like somebody told you before, nobody force them to fight, this aren't bulls being slaughtered for fun like in spain. nobody put a gun to their head and said "get in there". you know i'm not talking about the lower echelon who indeed get paid peanuts, i'm talking about the divas you defend on daily basis you know who they are: "if the money is right" or "for the right money", i'm talking about those guys. you and them seem to don't understand that money doesn't grow in trees, how can you expect to get paid millions when nobody have ever heard of you, you fight in a half empty arena and your tv ratings are shit?
