Obviously we all want to see boxers well compensated for their blood sweat and tears, but over paying for crap fights is detrimental to the sport. You can see that now with average fighters wanting millions for fights.

I bet all of your favourite boxers are more than well off so i don't think they need dweebs like you telling them they need more money.
Define 'over paying', please. Exactly how much or what % of the total money generated by a boxing event should a fighter be getting for his effort.

Thank you in advance for your response.

Of course i cannot give you exact numbers but if you don't think boxers demanding too much money thus scuppering potentially great match up isn't a problem today then you must have your head up your arse.

I'm talking mainly up and comers or contenders here that aren't willing to take a risk unless they a paid as a champion when they aren't one yet.

This is spot on. When guys like Danny Jacobs and Peter Quillen refuse to fight GGG unless there paid multiple millions of dollars when GGG hasn't even been making that then you have a problem. You need to fight the tough fights to earn your cred. When you duck and dodge fights nobody is feeling sorry for these guys.

Haymon had a golden opportunity to really put boxing back on the map but blew it with **** "showcase" fights where his stars were put against overmatched fighters and paying them a million each to do it. I wouldn't be surprised if he ran out of money. He was hoping these guys would catch the casual eyes by smashing overmatched fighters but if the hardcore fans see right through you and aren't even interested. Why should we tell our casual fan friends to watch?

Boxing has been shooting itself in the foot lately. Mannys only fought one good fighter since he got KO'd by Marquez besides Floyd and thats Bradley who we didnt even need to see him fight more then twice. That third fight was unnecessary. Canelo and Golden Boy playing the waiting game with GGG. The other good middleweights want nothing to do with GGG unless they're getting multiple millions, and I already explained how PBC looks to be ****ed. It's disgusting. You would have thought they would have made the most after Manny/Floyd did so well but all they did was get greedier and greedier.
