I didnt remember about Macklin vs Sturm. Pavlik or Martinez would have beaten him easily thats why I didnt even considera him a decade long Champion or anything

You didn't forget, you didn't know child.

Andi t doesn't matter what you "consider", Sturm held his belt for a decade and was consistently one of the top 3-5 middleweight around.

Not sure if I knew about that fight. Anyway it doesn't matter, sturm never called my attention as a boxer. Pavlik, Martinez and GGG were way better than him during his "reign", in which he ran away from many champions.

#1. Talent wise and skill wise I would say Brook would be his best win. No doubt. And I won't drop Brook's ranking at all either if he loses, losing to a monster like GGG, you cant really use that as a knock against a fighter...

whiilst i think lemiuex is a better win, i wouldnt be shocked if brook turns out to be a better win in retrospect. Could imagine someone like cotto/canelo fancying a fight v brook if he loses, and then brook springing an upset.

I think it would be a situation similar to Bradley/Pacquaio, where Pacquiao gets the better of Bradley but no one else can beat Bradley, I think GGG will beat Brook but that will be the only loss Brook takes in a while, I think he can still move down to 147 and dominate, or even challenge Canelo at his random catchweights, or even compete at 160, I don't see many names able to take him or in the very least be heavy favorites against him.

To be honest with you, I think they'll all develop new respect for him if he could beat Ward at 175. It would be a signature win (pissing on all his wins up to that point). I love to see that.

his best win imo. Kell Brook is a really good fighter, regular on P4P lists etc. He might be a welterweight, but he was always very big for it.

It all depends on what brook does after. It means crap if you beat per say the number one guy in your division only for that guy to become irrelevant after. Example baldomir was lineal when Floyd beat him but wtf did he do after? Nothing!
