When was the last time you went to the water cooler at work and heard "Man, did you catch that Darchinyan fight last night?"

America simply doesn't have any champions in the lower weight divisions. Those divisions are dominated by spanish and asian fighters. If I remember correctly, Americas only had but 2 flyweight champions (M. Johnson and Romero). The truth is that if there isn't an American champion, the Americans dont wanna be bothered.
When is the last time you went to the water cooler and heard anything about boxing???

Nah, I hear it all the time. I work in a Japanese grocery store, and asians love boxing. I live in a spanish neighborhood, and spanish people love boxing. I talk boxing nonstop everywhere I go.
