i know you just dont pay attention to those divisions cause they arent shown a lot here

strawweight through jr bantamweight and even bantam is the deepest in boxing easily without doubt my man
those 5 weight classes probably got 20-30 guys easy

who is between welter and heavyweight maybe that many maybe and thats like 7 divisions one with no weight limits

Also, I forgot to mention the psychological factor. Pressure also has to do a lot with how often a fighter can fight.

only to the dumb ones my friend

boxing is an international sport and it has 17 weight divisions

          people need to recognize
if you like a sport you should try to follow all the divisions you can
its hard following the very bottom weights here cause u gotta rely on asians to upload the fights and that can be hard if you dont speak those languages but i think its worth the effort

i think that fighters are guided along a little more slowly now then they were 5-10 years ago. i think promoters are trying to get every buck out of a fighter they can. slowly hyping and bringing a fighter up with a unblemished record is more of a for sure thing when it comes to having a big money fight/payday.

some fighters need to be challenged in order to bring out their true potential, and i think if they give a really good fighter an easy ride so to speak, when he meets up with stiff(not better but stiff) competiton they either look bad or they fold and lose. i know this can't be said for everyone, but it happends more times then most.

i think the killer of any fighter is inactivity! fighting once, twice, maybe three times in a years isnt good. i think fighters should fight at least six times a years, at least. back in the day fighters fought almost every month, in some cases they fought 2 or 3 times in a month. i know things are different now, but it's a good ethic to have. inactivity is a killer for boxers......especially if they're starting a career and they're only having a couple of fights in a year, to me it's career suicide.....staying active makes you sharp, aware, and always in condition.....

NO promoter will risk any of his fighters against someone that is not in his stable. There is so much red tape in the pros its unbelievable.
didn't foreman do it 17 times in about 18 months and thats in his 40's!

id say fighters are definitly being moved to slow...cotto is now taking steps in the fight direction, but youve got guys like joel julio who have 27 fights still fighting 6 rounders against nobodies.

i tried to go to other trainers but he got family at other gyms and s.a is like a huge boxing community,every1 knows every1. i was going to go to a gym that my neighbor trains at and my neighnor said his coach didnt want me cause he heard i was lazy and didnt like doing things(which is the complete opposite of what i am, im the hardest worker at the gym)he said that cause he pissed me off at the golden gloves with the weigh in's he told me that i could weigh in and when i came back i could be heavier, well that wasnt the case and i got disqualified so i stopped going for 3 months. my guess is he thought if he bad mouthed me to every1 that no1 would take me cause of what they heard. hell at least check me out before turning me down.

OK, btw, when are we gonna see Viloria or Calderon on a Boxing After Dark card or something like that? Ricardo Lopez was a national hero in Mexico, when was the last time America had a Golden Boy type fighter at 108? When was the last time you went to the water cooler at work and heard "Man, did you catch that Darchinyan fight last night?"

America simply doesn't have any champions in the lower weight divisions. Those divisions are dominated by spanish and asian fighters. If I remember correctly, Americas only had but 2 flyweight champions (M. Johnson and Romero). The truth is that if there isn't an American champion, the Americans dont wanna be bothered.
