Jacobs says he wants more than "two Peter Quillins" but "less than $10 million". So since he made $1.5m from Peter, we know he wants something between $3m+ and $9m.

$3m isn't going to happen unless it's PPV since Golovkin would have to at least get the same, so that would be $6 million from HBO just for the main event alone and not count the site fee, undercard and promotion.

Jacobs needs to come down to reality if he wants this fight to happen, about $2m is the most he realistically can get here.

Or he let it go to a purse bid if he wants, that would just mean 75-percent of the purse goes to Golovkin and Jacobs would get 25-percent. That would likely be less than "one Peter Quillin". Or he can just pull out and lose his "regual" title and fight for Sergio Mora's for $350k. The choice is his.

Been over this. If Jacobs doesn't want the fight then the smart thing to do is for Haymon to win the purse bid and see if Golovkin drops the title because he's contracted to HBO. If Golovkin doesn't, Jacobs can pull out and Haymon loses nothing.

Golovkin has fought off HBO before while under contract when he fought in Monte Carlo. The problem here is Haymon is not going bid big knowing 75℅ of the purse goes to Golovkin. You think he's going to invest that much money for a someone who isn't his own fighter and in all likelihood will knock Jacobs out? Get real.

Either they will try to make a deal before a purse bid or Jacobs pulls out.

Haymon might aswell bid big and see if Golovkin drops the belt, if not Jacobs pulls out. In this scenario Haymon loses nothing and his fighter might gain a world title.
