So Loeffler says that the fight will happen "if the WBA orders it" and somehow the fan boys interpret that as Team GGG trying to make the fight? He is essentially saying that they aren't really interested but if they have to to keep the title, they will.

Stop lying! :lol: You don't remember Jacobs saying even if he got double the Quillin payday, he still wouldn't take that because GGG is so amazing, and he could just fight "two Quillin's" instead? He don't want a "career high payday." He wants more than double is previous career high. Not $9 mil, you're right, he said it didn't have to be "eight figures" so he's not expecting $10 mil or $9 mil, but read between the lines. He's saying $3 mil isn't enough even though his career high is $1.5 mil. What he's saying, if you read between the lines, is he wants $5 mil or more, point blank. And is his name worth that? Is this fight going to generate enough money to pay the B side $5 mil? No it won't even with a generous split so that means he is ducking, point blank. When you demand more $ than the fight can reasonably generate for your side of the negotiation that is a duck, textbook duck.

Don't be biased and read your own agenda into things. What he is saying is there is no way Danny Jacobs, as an Al Haymon fighter, will fight GGG unless it's ordered. Jacobs just said he wouldn't even accept twice his career high payday to fight GGG because GGG is so good. Before this he was saying he wasn't ready to fight GGG right away, but that they had a plan to fight him I think in two years? Or was it three?

Read between the lines. GGG has been trying to fight everyone. Jacobs has been trying to fight no one. GGG is dying for good opponents, while Jacobs said he wasn't ready and then changed that bad PR position to another excuse that GGG was so good, he deserved a life changing payday to make this fight, and even twice his career high payday wouldn't be good enough because he could "just fight two Quillin's instead." That's how good GGG is, Jacobs sees him as more of a threat than TWO Peter Quillin's.

When will you guys learn? Al Haymon fighters will not get in the ring with the best, for the most part, unless they are forced, unless they are embarrassed, or unless they are wildly overpaid or shamed into it. There isn't that much fan pressure on Jacobs right now because so many racially biased fans run protection for him, so Loeffler is saying the only way Jacobs fights GGG this year rather than summer 2017 at earliest or 2018/2019 is if the WBA mandates it and forces him to fight or lose his fake belt.

You're great at putting your own spin on things and then calling it facts. I take a man for his word, not what I think he meant if you hop on one leg close your left eye and human while reading the quote. He said if ordered, they will fight. Nothing more, nothing less.

Jacobs was offered less money to fight GGG than he made for Quillan.

That's ducking by way of the low-ball offer.

Look for GGG to vacate if his team loses the purse bid.
