What? Wait Haymon out? Now that Arum has his hat in his hand, Haymon and the PBC have officially taken over. Pay attention!

Admittedly it's just speculation on my part...but it's very possible that the powers that be over there saw that Haymon was going to affect the boxing industry. And until they are sure of how everything is going to shake out they want to play it safe and pinch their pennies.

If Haymon's money runs out (and for the record I hope he succeeds, not that he fails) then they will be the biggest player in town again and can swoop in to pick up the pieces.
they aren't showing pac's ppv because its against vargas its going to be a flop so they are letting top rank take the hit.like the other poster said hbo has been lowering their boxing budget for years clearly boxing is no longer a priority.

Until that happens they are still ****. It seems like the haymon, floyd, pbc fans are the ones who can never say anything bad about them or even think logically when someone else points out the negatives of aforementioned **** promotions. I can admit arum isnt perfect and nobody is but hes been doing this for over 50 years and even with haymon trying to ruin him hes still the top promoter in the game and haymon really messed pbc and boxing as a sport is worse off since hes been around lurking in the background

don't get you're panties too wet even if arum leaves hbo still has canelo who is boxing's biggest cash cow and the gbp roster as well golovkin kovalev and ward and who knows maybe roman gonzalez can become a star and a draw for them as well.

If I was Espinoza I would be a little skeptical when dealing with Arum because Bob while a legendary Promoter no doubt, Bob loves you today then hate you tomorrow

But if you can get Crawford, Lomachenko, Bradley, and some of Arums other fighters on Showtime I don't see how that could hurt. I would love to see Ramirez vs Chavez Jr if Chavez Jr can make 168 that would be a pretty big fight but Chavez Jr need a showcase fight to show that he is still motivated at least

exactly. instead of embracing all the potential great fights these pbc idiots want to hold grudges.

The 'fans get tons of great matchups' because of Al Haymon. We were getting them before Arum dropped his pants and thanks to Al nobody cares what Arum and HBO do. You Haymon haters have to drop your pants along with Arum and submit to the PBC probe. lol

Arum is a good businessman. He goes where the money goes. They did pacquaio mosely on showtime and it was a big sucess. If hbo doesnt want to give his fighters airtime arum should go to whoever will its good business

I'm buying this fight. I know Vargas is a top 5 WW. Plus Pax won't have to run around the ring chasing him. He's too OLD for that sht.
It may be, but not to many people seem interested on it. If it was Pacman vs Thurman, Danny Garcia, or even Crawford HBO would have continue with the PPV.
