70/30 is the best he can hope for. 10 million purse that's 3 Million with major upside form the PPV....Probably earn around 10 million.... WHat more can he ask for? How am I a Hater? he wouldn't even get that money against Floyd.

You are defending GGG like a fanboy again and it's a shame because I thought we reached an understanding. Canelo has just said 154 is not a problem and has many many fights that he can make for PPV and make millions at 154.
GGG is literally waiting at MW begging Canelo for a fight in every interview they do. Look it's a shame Canelo doesn't want to test himself but if he did at most GGG deserves 30/70. Not only is GGG Mr. 150K (and that's believing the optimistic numbers) but Canelo was involved in the second highest earning PPV of all time...Say what you want about it being against Floyd but Cotto or Oscar didn't draw as much.
He want's Canelo's casual fans and that's all he's ever wanted. He's not a draw, if he was he wouldn't need Canelo.
I think it's very reasonable that Golovkin, as the defending champion, should expect to earn career high money for what would be highest grossing fight of his career.
SRL was a bigger name and a bigger draw than Hagler when they fought each other, but Hagler was the champion and he got the lion's share of the purse - $20 million to SRL's $12.
And he didn't give Leonard a catchweight either.

It's a shame that no one ever gets around to asking Golovkin about that whole anyone 154-168 bull****.

Additionally, Canelo and GGG are the same size. Canelo weighs more than GGG otuside the ring. But Virgil Hunter said Ward, even at 168, was a "scaled down light heavyweight" who weighs 200 pounds outside of the gym. GGG weighs around 170 outside the gym so you have a 30 pound weight difference in natural size. But now all you guys complaining GGG was too big for Floyd are b1tching about GGG-Ward? The hate and hypocrisy is insane.
The truth is things would have worked out exactly as they should have if Canelo wasn't scared. Ward, the "scaled down light heavyweight" who naturally weighs 200 pounds, stopped scaling down and went to fight the guy who is his size, Sergey Kovalev. Canelo was supposed to also stop scaling down, and fight the guy his size, GGG. The two natural middleweights, GGG and Canelo, fight. The two natural light heavyweights, Ward and Kovalev, fight.
Isn't that like, logical? Instead of the natural middleweight against the natural light heavyweight?
But you guys hate GGG and Kovalev more than anyone, so you hate that setup even though it's logical, because you're worried Kovalev will beat Ward, and you know GGG will beat Canelo. So the whole time it looked like Canelo would duck GGG, you deflected criticism, saying Canelo wouldn't really duck, you guys are just GGG fanboys. Now that the "fanboys" were right, and GGG ducked and even gave up his belt, you guys have new excuses.
It's pathetic. "Haters" doesn't even begin to describe it.

Canelo's last PPV, which was ****, did like 4x what GGG's did. GGG is a good draw, but Canelo is as least three times the star GGG is and that proof is in the numbers. If Golovkin wont accept 65-35 or even 70-30, he DOESNT want the fight and that's real.
I mean, beat Canelo's ass on PPV, take your 30 percent, and continue your prolific run as unified middleweight champ. Because the alternative (fighting nobodies because everyone's a *****) is not a good career move.

Canelo vacated the WBC belt imo to not pay GGG a purse that he doesn't deserve. I feel like GGG and his team think they are worth more than they really are. Being an HBO hype job will only get you so far. If I were Canelo I'd also say VADA or USADA or no fight... I'm not saying GGG is on PED's but it'd be nice to see how he performs with testing being involved. 60/40 at 160lbs would be alright with Canelo getting most of the PPV backend.
