Are you kidding me. He had time to adjust to MW, instead he fought khan.

And he got more time to adjust to MW, instead he is figing smith.

And facing a chance to fight a MW next, whose he aiming for, one of two guys GGG already beat.

Canelo has been fighting in MW since 2013, sure he's not been fighting MW.

But whose fault is that.

This is about hoping GGG at 35 1/2 is not GGG at 34. If GGG is still destroying people, Canelo will opt to wait another year.

Exactly what I was about to post. I wouldn't of cared if Canelo fought a bad MW but he chose Khan and then Smith. Tells you how much he wants to fight GGG. He should of dropped the belt after he beat Cotto and said "Hey I'm not ready, I just wanted Cotto". No one would've criticized him then.

You're dumb as hell. Canelo never wanted that belt. It was mere coincidence he had it. Him and Cotto were supposed to fight long before Cotto won that belt. It was Cotto that put the canelo fight on hold because he wanted to campaign at MW.

Whether Cotto had the belt or not canelo was still scheduled to fight him. GGG was trying to use that circumstances to force canelo into a AAA fight but canelo pulled his card and reminded him he hasn't done Jack ****.

Canelo fought Cotto, Floyd, trout, and Lara, and made record paydays all before he was 25. GGG has done .........nothing. absolutely nothing, now instead of moving up to fight guys at 168 that want him, he's fighting a we, who consistently has beat no one of note....lol!!!! At least Khan has faced the best in the division.

The top middles don't want to fight GGG. And that's what canelo fans use against him.

Yeah, Khan fought the best in his division (I guess..) and got his ass kicked. Canelo did almost all the talking early on. And now it seems he's just trying to justify the BS. Thanks boxing

I think that's precisely why Canelo is getting dumped on now. He should have kept quiet after the Kahn fight. If he didn't boast so much about "fighting anyone" fans wouldn't be so hard on him. I'm a fan of Canelo but criticizing GGG when he obviously avoided him is not the play for him right now. He should stay humble, fight within his comfort zone, and stop the theatrics.

Why is that? It seems that the closer the Mexicans live to the border the more they don't like "Chicano's"

Because they feel superior over non English speaking Mexicans but it goes both ways. Mexicans have their pride and they feel superior to them because most don't speak spanish. It's just a pride issue. It's like a black person calling another uncle tom. They feel like chicanos are being fake by not speaking spanish and chicanos feel Mexicans are inferior because they don't try and speak English in murrica. It's ******.
