They wanted this guy to fight the top MW without any time to adjust to the new weight.

Too bad that wasn't the case when Ward tried twice to fight him and they wanted a catch weight. This right after saying they would fight froch at full 168. Too bad they then tried to say they weren't in negotiations before ward proved he had offered them the fight and they said no.

Same with Ramirez and Degeale who both wanted him after he said he would move up and face them only to turn and say no because they are not big names? WTF?

As for Ramirez, according to Arum there is an agreement in principle for him to fight GGG in May next year.

I'm getting tired of posting this. He didn't fight for the f'ing belt. He fought Cotto because he wanted the name. Cotto v canelo was supposed to take place long before Cotto got the belt.

It was Cotto obligation to defend it, ges the one that put the canelo fight on hold to pursue it, and he is the one that refused to defend it.

GGG had the chance to force Cotto to vacate but the idiot chose step aside money because he knew canelo would win it so he could try and force a big money fight. Simple as that and it backfired because all canelo did was use GGG own excuse against him, if you only want the belt then take it.

It is GGG fault canelo had the belt, he should have had Cotto stripped like he could have but we all know what he really wanted and that was a money fight with canelo.
