Kell Brook was forced on them. They didn't have a choice.

To be fair he has gotten much, much better! Probably because of the $$$ Golden Boy is investing in him. That's why I didn't understand Luis Ortiz leaving?? He tried TWICE putting him on PPV undercards and get him MUCH needed exposure. Lemuix has made over $3million his last few fights. NOT bad for a Canadian boxer.

By choosing to fight Brook, GGG opens himself up to all possibilities. Such as fighting Lara and being asked to do what Brook did and jump two divisions and fight the winner of Kovalev vs Ward.
I feel you, but I don't feel like GGG "asked Brook" to come up 2 divisions. I feel like his promoter asked him (Brook) do you want the fight, and Brook said yes! I do feel like Lara would've been a more formidable foe, but GGG will make more money fighting Brook in the UK, than fighting Lara in the U.S.! If GGG never said all that bull**** about "i'm not business man," I wouldn't be criticizing him for this fight!

I don't care if Ward loses, he has already shown to be a warrior, and a man of his word! He said Kovalev was the target, and he aimed straight for him! That's a lot different than saying "anybody from 154 - 168, but Ward must come to 164 because he's not worth the risk!" I'll be cheering for Ward, but it's definitely a 50/50 fight!

Golovkin's team, especially his trainer, will say anything to make Golovkin look like a genuine person who is willing to fight anyone willing to step in the ring against it. It has been proven time and again that this is a lie. Golovkin picks and chooses his opponents just like every other fighter fighting today.

Golovkin is no different or better than Danny Garcia, Amir Khan, Deontay Wilder, Danny Jacobs or Canelo Alvarez. None of them are worth a damn!
