I wouldn't have a problem with GGG fighting Lara now! A Jr. MW champ vs. A MW champ is cool! I'm just saying that if Lara can't get Andrade, Cotto, or GGG, he should fight Jacobs! That would put him in line for a mandatory shot at GGG!

I understand what you're saying but I'm saying that shouldn't be necessary. Brook didn't have to fight anyone to get that position and the WBA isn't sanctioning the fight. If Brook can jump two divisions and get the fight the more accomplished Lara should be able to jump one division to get the fight. The thing is this. By choosing to fight Brook, GGG opens himself up to all possibilities. Such as fighting Lara and being asked to do what Brook did and jump two divisions and fight the winner of Kovalev vs Ward.

im just saying thats the type of **** the trolls and haters would come out with, and most of them would change their tune, just as they have made out lemiuex to be uselss because he lost to GGG, and hopkins was shot when kovalev beat him (although loads picked bhop to win), they are two recent examples. Sorry but im not having it that lara is some dangerous boogeyman, hes boring, really not that great a fighter and theres no demand for the fight, apart from you and a few other deluded posters on this site.

Like I said I give Kovalev full credit for what he has done. And most people respect Kovalev. It is more people talking shyt about Ward being scared than Ward supporters bashing Kovalev. I respect both and whoever wins deserves all the credit.

Lara doesn't have to be a "boogey man" but he does present something lil g has NEVER seen as a professional. An elite southpaw with A plus boxing skills and the confidence and experience to go with it. I would bet money Lara would make lil g look silly. There is a reason people don't want to see that fight who support lil g.

It's incredible how many don't want to see that fight! I could understand it from a business perspective, but GGG "not businessman!" In the meantime, if Lara is serious about fighting GGG @ 160, I think he should fight Jacobs @ 160 first. That should be an easy in-house fight to make!
