who knows. i just dont know what the big problem about staying at 160 is, the guys 34, not healthy to keep going up and down in weight. what i will admit is that his coach or whoever it was shouldnt have said the thing about taking on anyone from 154-168.

The problem with staying at 160 is that there isn't a willing opponent that will do much for g strings legacy or maximize his earning power. Even if he lost he could make a crap ton more money fighting Canelo at 155 than beating up the no hopers at 160. As you stated he's 34. Marvin Hagler was retired at that age.

Golovkin is like 2 levels above Kovalev and Kovalev is World class.
That is why people hype up a hypothetical GGG vs Ward even more than Kov vs Ward despite GGG being two weight classes down.

probably Golovkin but that doesn't certainly mean he is the better fighter too

They doN't or if they do it's because GGG has a bigger hype from HBO than Kovalev. MOre people know him, more marketable.
If Ward beats Kovalev at 175 GGG would be a fairly easy job for him, even if GGG is a highly skilled fighter himself.
