Not sure when exactly it was, I believe after the Pascal2 fight, or sometimes thereabout, Kovalev himself said that Golovkin has more skills, more ways to beat you. (I think they were talking about Ward). So I'll take Kovalevs word for it and say Golovkin

Or we can take Darnell Boones word for it

Nice try troll. Another one on the ignore list.
Why do people want to insult on NSB threads, then b itch up when I ask them to contact GOT BEEF and set something up for the dome, then want to come back with more trolling? It's like hes saying, "I dont want to step in the ring, I just want to stand outside the gym and flap my gums."
Take it to the dome, or stay the FU©K HOME!!

You shouldn't be surprised. I've always acknowledged a fighters skills and this isn't the first time. I follow boxing and not just one fighter that I like. You can look at some of my old post if you don't believe me.
Just because I argue with some of Golovkin's annoying and ****** fans doesn't change that.Comment

Both great and skilled offensive pressure fighters, Kovalev improved alot in the last years.
I still give the edge to GGG, more defensive skills, a better punch variety, speed changes, better at cutting off the ring and more one punch power.Comment

I don't actually. I see them as completely two different fighters. I respect Golovkin's skillset a lot more.I can see why they get compared a lot with being from that area of the world and being KO fighters, but they're completely different in the ring. Kov hits harder and is a bit faster, maybe quicker too. But Golovkin has the edge in all other areas.
Note: by quicker I mean "thinks Faster" (golovkin seems to be able to read his opponent very well and act on his prediction whereas Kov seems to react a bit faster mentally)Comment

Spot on......I think Golovkin is better at pretty much everything, better jab, counter-punching, ring IQ, defence etc. He's also a lot more sturdy imo, I don't think Kovalev is particularly durable.
Offensively, Golovkin knows how to apply real pressure, cut the ring off, also he mixes his punches up a lot more, whereas Kova is more textbook.
Defensively, Golovkin slips, catches and counters, Kovalev's defence is a lot more basic.Comment
