Anyone will fight anyone for the right money... It's not a surprise. You think Kell Brook would move up to fight GGG if he was only getting $1M? Of course not, he moved up because he's getting at least $4M.

When fighters start getting paid they'll start taking more risks.

Get $3M to fight GGG, beat GGG, then you get to fight Canelo and make $15 mil or something. How many Quillin's is that lol? Then beat Canelo, and suddenly with his story, and having beaten two of the biggest stars in boxing GGG and Canelo, with his exciting style, he is boxing's next superstar, pulling in 700k+ per PPV now, making $20 mil a fight. After 4 more years $20 mil per fight, two PPVs per year, he's made $80 million.

How many Quillin's is that lol? But these Haymon fighters have no vision, no belief in themselves. They're so scared they expect themselves to lose their first big fight, so they demand that one fight's payday has to be enough for their whole careers. They don't actually go into fights with a fighter's mentality of "this payday is fine, it's fair, but it doesn't have to be anything crazy because I'm going to win and get even more next time. Or even if I lose, I will get the rematch, or I will go get other big fights, because I know my talent, and I will always come back."

Instead they apparently expect to lose every big fight, so that's all they care about. "This is my last fight, I'm going to lose, so I demand a huge payday to make it worth it." What kind of mentality is that?
That is what everyone said when G refused or ducked Ward. Also, doesn't this go both ways? G and his team always throw names out with no intention of fighting them. Never offered Eubank a contract. Straight just said no way to Ward. No to Froch at 168 because he is too small. Took step aside money from Cotto. Didn't even need step aside money for Canelo-Khan to happen.

"They are so scared they will lose their first big fight..." That is exactly what G has been doing his entire career. He will fight a WW though. lol. I don't get fans b.s. contradictions. If Haymon made an offer and G wants more, is that still Jacobs ducking??? Both RJJ and Hopkins wanted more money to fight each other. G obviously won't fight Jacobs for what Haymon is offering, so why is G given a free pass?

G is out giving statements and interviews everyday because he is scared to fight the best. Hopkins fought ODLH at a catchweight because he had confidence. And guess what? ODLH had even won his MW title by fighting at 160!!! So many big names and G never agrees to fight any of them. And yet his fans blame everyone else. Well, Maravilla would never fight him so why even offer a contract? Just say he won't fight me and go on fighting his leftovers. Begged for a fight with Froch, then all of a sudden G realizes he is a small MW and won't fight him at 168. Just take money from Cotto, because well why try to make Cotto fight him? G is ducking Jacobs. Jacobs and G both want more than the other side is offering. They are doing the same thing. Literally. If Jacobs is ducking than G is too. B-hop fought ODLH at a CW and jumped all the way to LHW and fought the undisputed champ there. G fought Wade and a WW he made jump to 160. Leo Santa Cruz, Thurman, Porter, Broner, Garcia, Maidana, Jack, Dirrell #1 and Dirrell #2 have all fought better competition than G. G again refuses to fight a big name and so many just say well, if G won't fight him, then the other guy must be ducking G! Ward already proved this is true, yet his fans are still holding out hope that he will grow a pair someday.

What about Lara? G won't fight him. If G beat Lara and/or Ward he would make a lot more in his future fights. But he has no confidence. None at all. He is too afraid. If he fought Canelo at 155 G could become the biggest draw in boxing. But he is too scared. Keep defending G for never fighting anyone. Jacobs win over Quillen is a better win than any of G's. Everyone's favorite coward is already 34 and still making excuses and fighting opponents two weight divisions lower! lol. That is why Golovkin is still largely unknown and can't get anyone to pay for his ppv. If he beat Ward, Lara, Froch G would be a ppv fighter. Instead he is busy fighting the likes of Wade and a welterweight. Get outta here, G has lost all respect. Lara called out G. Ward called out G. Brook called out G. Guess which two got an excuse from G and who G agreed to terms with in less than one day! One day!

Hearn is paying Brook this kind of money, because he hopes to get it back from tickets, tv ads and whatnot. Fight is generating big buzz in uk because on of their own goes up against significant odds. Ppl hope that he will do well, but nobody will hold a serious grudge against him if he loses, because he goes up two divisions. He still will be marketable. And I don't think GGG will "destroy" him permanently just out of spite. Lemieux was beaten badly, but now is doing quite fine. And I actually think that he may have a bright future. Neither Lemieux nor Brook have a stain of "coward" on their resumes.
Situation with Jacobs is severely different. There is no big demand for the fight. He himself was supposed to push for the fight, because VBA "regular" is just a glorified mandatory spot. Formally he does not take any abnormal challenges, by taking on GGG - just fights the champion in the weight of his own. The fact that he tries to avoid it by asking unreasonable money hurts his image.

Jacobs a clown. Ill fight ggg before canelo BUT (BIG BUT) only if the money is right. Translation I want a unreasonable amount and thats gonna be my excuse for not fighting him is that they wont pay me what im worth.

Jacobs wants 5+ million to fight GGG thats like Canelo asking for 70 Million to fight GGG

Brook is getting 4 mil because he sells tickets and ppv. Why does Jacobs deserve ATLEAST that? He had 300k viewers in his biggest fight.

Initially, I thought this was a bump thread because Jacobs has stated these demands before.

Brook doesn't sell ppvs by himself but this one will do good numbers on sky ppv cause he's fighting Ggg. At least Hearn and Sky think so if they were willing to commit to like 10m in guarantee money
