This is typical of ducklings. They negotiate through the media. In many cases, fans don't even get to hear about these things and fights just happen. These ducklings spend thousands of dollars paying for their management teams and they choose not to use them. Has Jacobs even consulted with Haymon, who is part of his management team, yet? Why not?

All Jacobs wants is some cash as titles mean nothing at all
Big ears Jacobs wants cash to fight GGG as the title means nothing and a loss means nothing anymore. Boxing is about money and how much can one earn in the ring is the thing. ****** boy Jacobs is milking hios story for all he can which is fine but just fight GGG and get it over. Fight in Brooklyn get paid and get laid out. Big ears Jacobs can be a stand in for Will Smith in a movie. Jacobs is a good fighter with a great story behind him. Milk it and make some money. Will Smith can play jacobs in his life story movie.Comment

Stop talking about this fight , There's no fight on less is order by the WBA
GGG gets nothing here , He can't keep the WBA regular belt so why give him big money, if anybody getting big money is Billy Joe Saunders because well that the last belt GGG really needs.Comment

Exactly. These dudes are scared and have no confidence in themselves. Fighting GGG is only worth two Quillin's? Really? And what if he actually thought he could beat GGG? Get $3M to fight GGG, beat GGG, then you get to fight Canelo and make $15 mil or something. How many Quillin's is that lol? Then beat Canelo, and suddenly with his story, and having beaten two of the biggest stars in boxing GGG and Canelo, with his exciting style, he is boxing's next superstar, pulling in 700k+ per PPV now, making $20 mil a fight. After 4 more years $20 mil per fight, two PPVs per year, he's made $80 million.
How many Quillin's is that lol? But these Haymon fighters have no vision, no belief in themselves. They're so scared they expect themselves to lose their first big fight, so they demand that one fight's payday has to be enough for their whole careers. They don't actually go into fights with a fighter's mentality of "this payday is fine, it's fair, but it doesn't have to be anything crazy because I'm going to win and get even more next time. Or even if I lose, I will get the rematch, or I will go get other big fights, because I know my talent, and I will always come back."
Instead they apparently expect to lose every big fight, so that's all they care about. "This is my last fight, I'm going to lose, so I demand a huge payday to make it worth it." What kind of mentality is that?Comment
