Why are we comparing a 34 year old Golovkin to a 26 year old Spence?

Age aside, c'mon man. They are both Amateur stand outs with a comeforward style, both flawed and hyped to the core. Also both have fan bases that hate one anther for the same reasons. Hypocrisy at its finest.

GGG has fought a lot of good fighters & solid contenders. David Lemiuex, Martin Murray, Marco Antonio Rubio, Daniel Geale & Matthew Macklin in the last 3 years I'd say are recent top contenders who GGG has fought.

I don't really understand the criticism of GGG with this sorta stuff. I mean after all rankings are always relative among the guys in any particular weight division & who's beaten more contenders than GGG at 160 in the last couple years? I can't name anyone.

to be real though, the super 6 imo was one of the best round robins in recent boxing history

Andre and Dirrell were unproven olympians but had potential......Kessler was blitzing everyone not named Froch, Ward or Calzaghe....I was high on kessler and shocked he lost to someone so experienced.I was pulling for him to get by Joe but Joe really showed class.

Taylor was a former undisputed 160 champ he had a lot of talent and Abraham was solid too...10 defenses of the ibf at 160

IDK why anyone has to bring up Ward anyways, I made this thread so Spence and GGG fans could see the hypocrisy in a lot of their statements. No matter what people say they are both good but havent fought anyone of note really. 1 is a champ and was given belts but in all reality if my crystal bal is correct the same will happen with Spence. No one will fight him and he will get a vacated or interim IBF belt...

Errol Spence and Golovkin are at two totally different stages of their careers.

Golovkin sells out stadiums, people buy his merchandise, his fights are anticipated months ahead of time, and he has been the most talked about boxer for the last couple years.

Spence is a f**king beast but he has been a pro for less than 4 years. Let's see if he can build a strong fanbase. I hope he can.

But do you not see the hypocrisy in both fan bases? Basically I see Spence in the same situation as GGG in the next couple years. And as far as skill and fighting style, theres not to much of a difference.

No I get who he beat but according to certain fans everyone you named are bums. While at the same time applauding another guy for doing the same. Same goes for the other side... And idk bro, maybe Jermain Taylor but his riehn on top wasnt as long as GGG I think he defended like 5 or 6 times but arguably against way better comp...
