Yes floyd is only looking out for his investment but you cant control every aspect of your investment thats why its a risk. I am almost 100% sure theirs is no wording in the contract or even a verbal understanding that Davis would have to leave his set up and train out of his gym and do mayweather style of training.

Gervonta Davis is the 10th ranked contender. This title shot is a benefit of being part of TMT. Floyd is willing to put his career on the fast track, if he proves that he will be committed to the sport and eat, drink and sleep boxing.

Hell no. Floyd paid for that special permission.

I dunno, Floyd gets his fighters title shots. Ishe Smith, Ashley Theophane, Mickey Bey, and Badou Jack all got title shots, although whether or not they deserved them is up to debate.

Its not mayweather job to play manager too hell Davis should take em to court for violating the ali act.
Mayweather as the promoter has absolutely nothing to do with davis outside of the realm of getting him fights and tv dates that is it.

People complain about the lack of hunger in fighters these days and then sht like this thread comes out.
You have people putting themselves in debt and moving around the world in an attempt to further their career, yet we're expected to feel sorry for Gervonta? GTFOH with that ****.
Mayweather is expected to invest millions in him. He has every right to lay down certain stipulations and to expect a return from his investment. Being in Vegas would arguably get Gervonta more exposure: attending the events of other fighters in Mayweather's stable. He arguably has to go out of his way to promote him in Baltimor as it is outside hos place of operation.
There's also him being in a detrimental environment.
The demand isn't unreasonable. If Gervonta does not like ot, he should walk.
