What Golovkin's saying about Rameriz not being a big name though is true. Rameriz has yet to ever headline his own HBO show. His biggest fight vs Abraham, was on the Pacquiao/Bradley III ppv undercard, not seen by many fans. His next biggest fight was probably the Vlasov fight on the Rios/Alvarado III undercard where he didn't look great. Now Arum's talking about burying him on the Pacquaio/Vargas undercard. So yeah, Rameriz is hardly a big money fight for Golovkin at 168. The fight could sell well, but it be Golovkin's name carrying it and the idea of him fighting a SMW.
99.9% of Golovkin's opponents are bums, he can hardly talk about someone not being a big name. All the greats moved up, GGG refuses to do that. Mayweather was right about the boy - He's got no heart.

I recognize what Loeffler has said could possibly happen in the future, noting that he has never said that he and Arum were working on making that fight. How do you reconcile this statement though? Seems pretty clear what Trips opinion is.

"I want the big fights. I want the big names. Who is there at 168? Badou Jack? DeGale? Ramirez? To me these are regular fights, these are not big fights. I want the big fights. Why move up to 168?," Golovkin told Boxingscene.

Hagler and Monzon never moved up and they were the greatest at MW. Hopkins never moved up until he was 41 years old and had taken back to back losses against Taylor. If you want to compare Golovkin to Hopkins, then you have to allow Golovkin another 7 years before he has to move up.

Golovkin was ready to move up for Froch in the UK after Froch beat Groves the second time.

Do you have any evidence they would've moved into it?

What a lame reply. You want evidence they'd have moved to a division that didn't exist?

                    • Not too long ago it was "Nobody from 154-168 goes twelve with G-string". Then Dirty Sanchez comes out with "97K will be a much better fighter at 168". Dirty Sanchez also said "97K will eventually move up to 168, maybe 175"

The coward makes Brook move up 13 pounds (5.8967 Kilos for you Guzzling Gonad Girls) but can't move up 8 pounds (3.62874 Kilos for you Guzzling Gonad Girls) to face better opposition or even move up 13 pounds to face Ward at Lt Heavy? what a pussay
