And Hearn's works often with PBC & PBC is loaded at 154 so if Brook comes up short at 160 vs GGG I foresee him getting in play for the Charlo's, J Rock or Lara at 154. And obviously if Brook beats GGG than Brook is in play for a huge fight with Canelo so obviously he's not moving back down at that point.

I don't think Brook being "scared' of or ducking Spence would have anything to do with it as some nutty mfers are suggesting either. You don't move up two weight divisions to fight one of the most avoided guys in the sport if you're scared of or ducking a guy 2 divisions down who's still more potential than proven at the elite level.
The thought of losing to a prospect is far more terrifying than the thought of losing to a p4p fighter. Brook absolutely has nothing to lose against Golovkin and everything to lose against Spence. You guys know this but you too obsessed with defending ggg to face the truth.

LOL where the f#ck am I defending GGG? Whats my alleged (ie non existent) GGG obsession got to do with Brook any damn way? Some of you guys can't see the forest from the trees with logical ****. Everything is based on some fanboy bs you believe or you think others believe.

Not that Rios would have ever beaten Bradley, but no way does Bradley knock out Rios in any normal circumstances.
That does seem realistic when you think about it we all know Brandon is a very durable guy he has one of the best chins but he was just battered down and KOed with a liver shot was it?
Well I highly doubt your body is going to be strong when you're cutting extreme weights.

True. Those fights always seemed like sure things only to fall apart before they were 100% official which was suspect to me.

Part of me thinks Hearn just saw an opportunity to cash out with Brook with the GGG fight since the Eubank's were acting like crazy people.

that is what a lot of people don't seem to understand

I'm pretty sure Brook will be in trouble whether he fights on the inside or the outside, especially coz of Spence's reach advantage on him.
Yeah I'm not saying Spence can't fight on the outside, he definitely can, I'm not even saying he couldn't get the better of Brook on the outside, just that he's not as good as Golovkin on the outside.

He needs to be. Leave 147 on a good note at least in that division his record is undefeated.

I agree with this...the difference btw spence and the resumes of thurman and brook is shawn porter for goodness sakes...

You listen to the people on this site, and you'd assume the top welterweights have all been tried and tested, with the exception of spence.

Before the loss? Competitive fight... After? Spence stops him late

I'm calling bullshyt right now. Brook could have fought Spence in a ppv, the Brits will buy any shyt, he's moved up because Hearn has forced his hand he's cashing him out to build Golovkin up for a DeGale or Smith at SM.
