I have a hard time seeing Brook fight at 147 again & if he does & its too quick it could be one of those RJJ/Chris Byrd moves down in weight where Brook loses something in the weight loss. And Hearn's works often with PBC & PBC is loaded at 154 so if Brook comes up short at 160 vs GGG I foresee him getting in play for the Charlo's, J Rock or Lara at 154. And obviously if Brook beats GGG than Brook is in play for a huge fight with Canelo so obviously he's not moving back down at that point.

I don't think Brook being "scared' of or ducking Spence would have anything to do with it as some nutty mfers are suggesting either. You don't move up two weight divisions to fight one of the most avoided guys in the sport if you're scared of or ducking a guy 2 divisions down who's still more potential than proven at the elite level.

The thought of losing to a prospect is far more terrifying than the thought of losing to a p4p fighter. Brook absolutely has nothing to lose against Golovkin and everything to lose against Spence. You guys know this but you too obsessed with defending ggg to face the truth.

That's why Brandon Rios got KO'd off Bradley. Apparently he was about 175 or 180 just 8 or 9 weeks before the fight.

Not that Rios would have ever beaten Bradley, but no way does Bradley knock out Rios in any normal circumstances.

I don't see him beating any of the 154 champs. I don't think he could beat Austin Trout. Everyone keeps saying he'll go to 154 but if he's been having trouble making 147 like everyone likes to repeat, why hasn't he moved up there yet? Because he's most effective at 147

Spence has a 72 inch reach and a good jab too, plus he fought on the outside a lot in his earlier fights and did it well too (hence the mayweather comparisons earlier on in his pro career). I'm pretty sure Brook will be in trouble whether he fights on the inside or the outside, especially coz of Spence's reach advantage on him.

Yeah I'm not saying Spence can't fight on the outside, he definitely can, I'm not even saying he couldn't get the better of Brook on the outside, just that he's not as good as Golovkin on the outside.
