Ward's chance lies with outboxing Sergey, obviously.

I'm not gonna go and spend an hour of time rewatching a fight.
Kovalev easily denies his opponent's clinching and grappling tactics.

(You should rewatch the B-Hop fight, though...)

        Kovalev can box as well -- he's a boxer-puncher.

Just because Ward is not a power puncher, which he never was, does not mean that he cannot outbox and frustrate Kovalev to a decision victory. I hope Jackson is not betting on that. Ward has the stamina and endurance to win and win ugly. He better have a good game plan for Ward besides just rush in and throw bombs!

Exactly. Kovalev is too tough to be manhandled. Ward will actually have to use his skill to beat him. He definitely has what it takes to outbox him, just not sure if he can handle Kovalev' power. Should be a good one.

... Well, this is exactly what many say here -- Ward to frustrate Kova and win after an ugly fight...

... And this is exactly I don't buy: I don't think that, to date, there is someone who can "go ugly" against Kovalev...

(But never mind: let's see first if Ward shows up... We may discuss more afterwards...)

That's why I said above: let's see first if Ward shows up in November... We may discuss more during and after the fight...

He doesn't need power in order to defeat the Krusher Kovalev; All he needs is speed. He must find a away to beat Sergey to the punch, while neutralizing his power in the process. However, I admit it's much easier said than done.
