Ward's chance lies with outboxing Sergey, obviously.

Just because Ward is not a power puncher, which he never was, does not mean that he cannot outbox and frustrate Kovalev to a decision victory. I hope Jackson is not betting on that. Ward has the stamina and endurance to win and win ugly. He better have a good game plan for Ward besides just rush in and throw bombs!Comment

Exactly. Kovalev is too tough to be manhandled. Ward will actually have to use his skill to beat him. He definitely has what it takes to outbox him, just not sure if he can handle Kovalev' power. Should be a good one.Comment

... And this is exactly I don't buy: I don't think that, to date, there is someone who can "go ugly" against Kovalev...
(But never mind: let's see first if Ward shows up... We may discuss more afterwards...)Comment

That's why I said above: let's see first if Ward shows up in November... We may discuss more during and after the fight...Comment

He doesn't need power in order to defeat the Krusher Kovalev; All he needs is speed. He must find a away to beat Sergey to the punch, while neutralizing his power in the process. However, I admit it's much easier said than done.Comment
