Hmmm, well I have one that Loeffler directly HIMSELF said

Loeffler said " his emailed reply to Ward’s camp was that if Ward was still at 168 pounds in early 2017, Golovkin would be pleased to consider the bout at that point."

Los Angeles-based promoter Tom Loeffler called The Times to refute that version of events, stressing he wanted to clarify the "context" of his rejection.

Loeffler said the email from an official of Ward’s promoter, Roc Nation Sports, extends a 50/50 purse-split offer to fight in 2016 after each fighter took one fight earlier in the year.

"It would’ve been a bad deal to take," Loeffler said.

In that same article, Loeffler questions Wards ability to make weight and remarks, Who knows what weight Andre will even be fighting at? If he can make 168 in early 2017 then its an option. I believe Ward has since said that he will not go back to 168. I have to wonder if Ward even thought he could make 168 last year. When GGG said 164 this fall, Ward could have looked a little more serious and said 168 this fall. Instead, we got I'll fight you next year
No, the direct quote was "maybe in 2017 if andre is still at 168 golovkin would CONSIDER it"

And you're right, just like you did earlier, I COULD write any lying **** I want. Fortunately, I don't have to. Why? Because "maybe 2017" supercedes any question as to whether Ward could make 168 between July 2015 and September 2016.
Whether Ward could make 168 or not, GGG didn't want to lock himself into a 2 fight contract which would have involved moving up to a higher division for 50% of peanuts when there seemed to be better fights waiting for him in his own division - Lemieux then the winner of Cotto/Canelo. Is that so difficult to understand?

Ward: "I don't think I can make 168 any more. 175 is not easy to make"

Oracle Arena, Oakland, Calif. - Former super middleweight champion Andre Ward (30-0) dominated Alexander Brand (25-1) over 12 rounds to set up a November 19th H

Virgil: "You move when your body tells you to move. In the gym, Andre is 186/189. Doing nothing, he's 200"

did you actually watch the video? Within 30 seconds of the video running, Virgil Hunter clearly mentions how he'd rather have Ward at 168.

Sitting at the house "doing nothing", Hunter says Ward gets to 200; in the gym, working out to keep fit, Ward is in the mid 180s, and that's before locking in for anything (hard fight camp, diet/nutrition, etc)

Hunter even makes the point that "at this point", fighting at 175 doesn't matter because Andre is pretty much in his body now.

The video was all of less than 4 minutes, yet you couldn't watch it. lol

So, you post to Ake Dawg and give the exact quote, then post to me a misquote of the same article and claim it is the "direct quote"...

The DIRECT QUOTE is as follows:
Loeffler said his emailed reply to Ward’s camp was that if Ward was still at 168 pounds in early 2017, Golovkin would be pleased to consider the bout at that point.

Im guessing there's something about the phrase "be pleased to" that doesn't quite fit your narrative.

Another question. You and I have gone back and forth over "1 tune up" vs "1 tune up in 2016". Now look and read what you copied from the article. Do you see where Loeffler says after each man has had a tune up that year (2016)? Are you going to try to argue that Ward was not planning to fight again in 2015? Are you trying to say that the whole Ward vs Murdoch and Ward vs Brand was just a couple of hoaxes? Ward sent an offer for a year after the fact, asking Golovkin to agree to a fight at a weight Ward would have not made in3 years at that point. Is that smart business?

So? Are you saying Golovkin had no right to want to consider his options before moving up for Ward? Does he owe Andre a living or what?

You're correct he would be pleased to "consider" the fight. So he would "consider" it...why not say happy to fight him? Because he didn't want the fight, but we've gone around enough with this. GayLoveKin had his chance to prove elite, and he blew it, now he's fighting a WW.

Lol. So you hear Virgil saying "I'd rather have Andre at 168" right where the other clown hears him saying "I know how to get Andre to 168"

He's not mumbling doe ... you can clearly hear what he's saying ... yeah right!

I'm sure Virgil would rather have Andre at 168 doe. So why didn't he stay there if he could still make the weight?

And btw, what do you make of the quote from Ward I posted where he says himself that making 175 is hard and he doesn't think he can do 168 any more?
