That's why this country is leading the overall medal count by about double that of any other nation in the games, right?

If it makes you feel better, I thought he fought a great fight. He put a tremendous amount of pressure on Stevenson to remind him who he was in with. I wish I could say that I can't wait to see him in the pros, but being Cuban, I'm sure he'll just chase four Olympic gold medals.
To be fair, this international website is mainly american, but a lot of posters aren't americans.

Obviously, it's a thread about Shakur, but there have been X threads about Shakur, very few or none about La Cruz or most rio boxing true stars.

You have that cool story with the french super HW Tony Yoka who will compete for the gold tomorow, his girlfriend won the gold at rio for France in the -60 Kg.

But so much about Shakur the next so called next Floyd.

Your country has 330 million population and my tiny nation has a population of 68 million and yet u have a 40 medal lead. Going by population you should have five times the amount of medals as the uk shouldn't you ...that's great init lol...think before you speak and this was a conversation about boxing medals and this is a boxing forum

People like to criticize and see others fail who are expected to excel to make them feel better about there own disappointment in life.
Same thing happens when a celebrity has a meltdown, people poke fun of etc so it can give them a kick and make then feel better with thoughts like "see, you can't always win. I'm not so bad, there not so special after all"
Unfortunately for them it is just an illusion, and with the obvious dedication from the 19 year old Shakur, he will go very far in life and the professional ranks
Remember this people, you learn more from a loss than a win

Shakur didn't do enough in that 3rd round, and that's what cost him the Gold Medal unfortunately. This kid has a really bright future in the pro ranks and under Floyd's guidance, the sky is the limit!!
