No. Actually Ramirez has better pro style. If Ramirez was an American he wuold be a super-star in profs.

Haha yeah right only if he gets that mayweather treatment.

      Ramirez is a bad ass.

No shame in losing to someone like Ramirez

yeah said it on a different thread, because shakur is american thats the only amateur we hear about on this site. saw about 5 threads in last few minutes about shakur, and seems to be the only fighter in the tournament judging from last few weeks. No threads praising the winner, the 2x olympic champ because hes cuban.

didn't land very clean. And you can fight this high volume pitter pat style in a 3 round fight where you don't have to worry about running out of gas and the fight is so short you don't worry about the punishment adding up from leaving yourself open. Different story in a 10 or 12 round pro fight. Shakur better defense, better counter punching and the style you can sustain over 10 or more rounds or more.

Obviously you didn't see other fight of Ramirez. He has one of the most clean punching in amateur boxing.

Now people have a problem with him being emotional after a loss of this magnitude? This has literally happened hundred's of times on this olympics alone. These guys train their whole loves for this. They don't make big bucks, they don't live in mansions. They work hard to prove themselves to the world and their country so if they break down after a tough loss, that's ok.

You're on an American site, with a very large portion being American and you're surprised that Shakur is brought up a lot?

Damn man. A 19 year old kid just got edged out for a gold medal by a single point. Give him a break.
