I'm saying his Ring IQ, which is the main asset of his that people always rave about, is overrated because it's mostly the things he was genetically gifted with that give him a huge advantage.

ALL of which are things that he was born/blessed with, and NONE of which have anything to do with ring intelligence.
The mistake you are making is that you think what Floyd does is all reactionary, when in reality he sees things coming. He sees the mistakes guys make better then anyone else.

Floyd ages the same as the people he's being criticized for cherrypicking. From the sound of his critics, he never ages. It's always the other guy who is waited out as though Floyd himself never ages or loses any of his assets. This is actually a great compliment from his detractors.

            Floyd is underrated.

With the exception of Corrales, Hatton & Canelo when did he fight a top fighter in their prime?
that's exactly how i feel. floyd never beat a bona fide hall of fame atg fighter who was in their prime. that is a fact. all the great names on his resume were all past prime.

and i think pernell whitaker was the far superior athlete and had much better reflexes than floyd.

              far greater.

So Floyd is over rated for being gifted? Wow, you could say this about dozens of all time greats and even more lesser fighters who's fans blow them (up) on here like they have accompished more than fighting in an ABC era. What an epiphany!!

The only truth is that this thread is ****ing dumb like I stated previously. Floyd is an ATG whether you, me or anybody else feels otherwise. Go sulk somewhere else.

He's about as popular as Paquiao who many see as being around the same level of greatness. So, eh. Floyd is a great fighter. Nothing overrated about him.

Floyd was undefeated over 19 years, never been dominated, beat up, never been on his ass, won titles in 5 different divisions, is one of the most accurate, one of the least hit. If that's an overrated guy, so be it. He's the best I've ever seen
