I am waiting to respond in Larry's Floyd is under rated thread. LOL!!

Mayweather's opponents most of the time were coming off big wins, whereas Pacquiao's opponents were coming off recent losses. FACTS.

They both fought most of their top opponents at the most convenient times. Pacquiao's top wins are against Barrera, Marquez, Cotto & Bradley where he beat them in their primes. He has a lot of other good wins based on name recognition but the time he fought them they were way past their prime like De La Hoya & Mosley. His win against Hatton is good too but Mayweather already beat him a fight or two before that. It does go both ways where Pacquiao & Mayweather both have done the same thing in terms of picking a recognizable name at the right time in order to build their resume.

Let's face it - His ring IQ, while great, is overrated. The biggest advantages he has going for him are his freakish long reach, and his natural speed and razor-sharp reflexes (especially in terms of head movement)... ALL of which are things that he was born/blessed with, and NONE of which have anything to do with ring intelligence.

WTF are you talking about? He's undefeated through 49 fights and he has beaten a lot of good opponents along the way, including Pacquiao, Cotto, Canelo, Hatton, etc. etc.

Cotto was asked but didn't pick a winner (because Roach was training him), link to otherwise? Freddie Roach said Mayweather is the best of the era.

I read Miguel interview in boxing magazine then put it back on shelf.
So Miguel diudnt poick a winner in what you read. That may be true but he did in the interviuinterviuew I resad so I don't k kiw what to make of that.
As for Floyd being best of this era according to roach. He bases that on floiyd being unbeaten on poaper and him beating PAC. But not everyone judges on that criteria. Many think poac is best and many think Floyd is.
Many think Floyd is operated as I'm sure many think PAC is.

So he didn't have to work at developing his speed, reflexes and head movement? He just got into the ring one day and had the speed, head movement, defense and reflexes all there, ready to go like a peak Floyd?

Those are things you are 90% born with. It's all down to genetics and brain chemistry... So yeah.
