Hard to get a feel for P4P ratings when i wasnt properly following the sport (or in SRL's case, not alive)
There wasn't a P4P list then if I remember correctly.

First recorded structured list came in 1980 I think.

Benitez was on it, not sure where. But Leonard had already beaten him by then.

Trinidad was defintely Top 3 P4P but at MW he wasn't a prime version IMO.

No i wasn't. Stop lying. There's only one fighter that i think shouldn't be anywhere near where he is on most lists and you know who it is.

Barrera - Pacuiao 1? If I recall Barrera being #3 behind Jones & Hopkins
          Surprised that wasn't on here.

Marquez and Trinidad prime? Arguably at that stage of their career but not their peak weight.

Nunn was beating Toney handily before the KO so I don't think that's an option for this question.

Pacquaio-Morales a great example, I missed that one. Although I wouldn't consider it a schooling but still a good example.

              Great example.

Definitely one of the best examples to date of a prime/arguably prime top 3 P4P fighter getting schooled and in this case stopped.

For me, it's Toney getting absolutely schooled by Roy Jones.

That's the most embarrassing, one sided beat down and schooling I've seen a Top 3 P4P fighter take.

Pacquiao wasn't prime (just yet) nor was he even Top 3 according to RING.

I'd say Trinidad & JMM weren't prime either entering the ring that evening, but they were still P4P top, so it passes.

                  Very specific thread details lol

                      Not really.

Top 3 P4P in their prime.
