(Holyfield,Barrera, Tapia, Tszyu, Klitschko are just recent examples) Does the HOF mean there are only 100 (or whatever the Number is) great fighters in boxing history? Most Asian, Soviet & Cubans didn't even box pro or bother with it up until recently. Media & globalisation has begun the power shift & charge in foreign interest though! Look at the list of current champions! To answer your question though.. 70 is my count though I could be wrong. Though it doesn't really matter to me because I don't hanker onto past glories really & put huge stock into nepotistic US institutions.. I live in 2016. I suspect in 25 years time or so a huge amount of Europeans & Asians will have & continue to enter the HOF.

Why do u only have Wilder the human stick insect representing u above 160?

the international boxing hall of fame

tszyu has been in a few years....tapia should be in, a couple greats havent been out the ring 5 years to be eligible.

I hope europeans and asians continue to shine....asia has produced many champions and great fighters but since they are all 126 and under, they get no love...i appreciate them, just like the larger european guys at 160 and up.....diversity in the sport is great but as far as euopeans "taking over"...thats far from the truth

This thread is garbage ; Modern day Prize fighting was founded in the UK and they are mediocre at best....I laugh at the notion that these weak inferior countries are going to best US, it is simply wishful thinking from euro peasants that just started seeing vehicles passing through their dirt roads for the first time in their lives -- Im actually surprised they can even access the internet. America will always be your example you weak jealous socialist.

See? Shows how much I give a fig about he HOF that I didn't even know! If Tszyus in then Klitschko, Kovalev, Golovkin, Lebedev, Froch, Adamek, Dariusz etc deserve to be too or certainly could be candidates very soon..

I suspect Frampton, Lomachenko, Usyk, Beterbiev, DeGale & Joshua have potential great careers in them too.

Chris John & Rigondeaux are worthy candidates too.

I never said Euros are taking over BTW I just acknowledge the GLOBAL power-shift in the sport unlike some do. Hence my OP question & interest in peoples reasonings for it. HOF inductees have no bearing really. Brazil was great at football but they are ****e now. The all blacks of new Zealand are the best at Rugby but no doubt time will alter that too.

You foreigners should pay for a subscription to access boxingsene as your hits would hardly if at all generate any revenue in advertising in Europe...be grateful to the legacy of the Great USA that you can come here and spew nonsense...this is an AMERICAN based site.

If they were never that good....why did postol lose to Crawford? Algieri beat Prvodnikov.....Broner beat the breaks of Khabib Allakhverdiev

the europeans are doing well for themselves...lets just leave it at that....competitive fights is what we want as fans.
Im really worried bro we are simply outnumbered! Kosovo, Andora, Sweden, Liechtenstein, Austria and Germany are going to rule boxing 20 years from now! Im calling it!

Why is it when they aren't reigning supreme in a division that suddenly that division becomes weak and irrelevant?

Totally agree with what you're saying this mythical bull**** award of being placed into the HOF really doesn't count for jack **** nobody knows who is in it and nobody really cares who gets placed into it.

It's like the WWE putting their best guys in the HOF it really means nothing anyone can get into it, its not really a level of how good you are more of what you've done in boxing so basically idiots on this forums saying
"oh well how many HOF fighters has he fought"
That goes for nothing, really amateur of these type of idiots that spend all day trolling on Youtube videos and forums.
