As far as the press conference, it was never billed as a press conference with Ward and Kovalev. This event was stated from the beginning as being a Kovalev only event. It was never the official kickoff to the Ward-Kovalev fight. Main Events wasn't even promoting it as such before the event. It was clear that this was a Kovalev event.

Show me anything prior to the event that stated this was supposed to be the official kickoff press conference for Ward vs. Kovalev. It's Duva finally getting her time to shine and she's jumping the gun. She went rogue with this even and it turned into a ****show.

Well I appreciate all that. It would have worked had I said he was billed to appear. What I have essentially stated thus far is him not bothering with the first presser doesn't make him look good. Oh & when Kovalevs promoter is beginning to express doubt (http://www.boxingscene.com/kovalevs-...-fight--107558) on the fight I think anyone who feels sceptical has a cause too, don't you? I mean Kovalev makes the effort to watch the ****-fest that was Brand but Ward cant appear alongside him in actually promoting the fight? Here's an idea Andre, focus less on Brand & more on Kovalev then you wouldn't be having to miss pressers for a boxing mega fight days after fighting a scrub..

I was surprised it was a big deal that Ward wasn't there. I sign up for the email alerts. They never said Ward was supposed to be there. From day one I was under the impression that this was a Kovalev event. This is being blown way out of proportion.

Please show me an example of when a fighter has been on a presser 3 days after a fight. The Brand fight was put together very late, since the kickoff presser for the Kovalev fight was arranged well before the Brand fight it's possible that Ward and RN didn't know the Brand fight would be so close to this presser.

They should have given Main Events earlier notice that they wouldn't attend or at the very least send a representative to the presser. I can give you that because I'm not a lying fan boy like yourself.

You are essentially arguing that Brand is priority over Kovalev. You taking issue with someone pointing out Wards skewed priorities rather than questioning those odd priorities yourself says more about you than me.
