Doesn't fancy it against Kovalev? I mean in the ring post Brand he seemed lacklustre with Kovalev... 'Ermhh yes I guess so' when asked if the fight is on! He refused to talk about Kovalev in the build up to Brand saying I am focusing completely on Brand. Doesn't bother with the press conference recently!

Is he upset because he cannot dictate terms to Kovalev like the stiffs he's been fighting & home field advantage will be taken away too? Right proper diva..

I get the sense that a lot of Kovalev/GGG fans are hoping this fight doesn't happen. This fight has a date, venue, TV spot, yet Kovalev fans are still saying Ward fight won't happen. Now lets look at other fights people are saying that will happen. Klitschko vs. Fury. No date or venue. Canelo vs. GGG. No date or venue. Saunders vs. Canelo. No date or venue.

Now let's look at fights with a date and venue but with a fighter who has a history of pulling out of fights. Brook vs. Golovkin. Brook has a history of pulling out of fights but you don't see people saying that fight won't happen.

It's pretty clear to me what's going on. Certain people don't want to see the fight happen. They're concern trolls.

I wouldn't want to fight him either if I was Ward. They keep giving him money to fight guys he wouldn't use as sparring partners. Must be the boxing equivalent of a half day at work on full pay.

I watched the post fight presser of the Brand fight and most of the talk was about the Kovalev fight, he was a straight shooter with all those questions asked. He said he was coming to get the belts in November, basically everything you'd want to hear.

Ward never looks ahead!! .... In the Post Brand presser he was asked about facing other LHWs after Kovalev, he refused to answer that question saying "right now Kovalev is the only guy in the division as far as he is concerned" ..... I'm sure you will equate that to him ducking Stevenson, Beterbiev etc... No, he is always focused on the fight at hand just like Floyd was. Someone should've taught Khan this, he might not have slipped up against Peterson or Garcia if he did.

If Ward was lacklustre in that post fight interview then I guess Kovalev was too cause both guys pretty much acted the same. Ward didn't look fazed by Kovalev's presence at all, he's just another obstacle in his path. And please don't make up quotes.... Ward said to Max "That's what it looks like baby..." not "Ermm I guess so" when asked if it was next.

He didn't show up to presser which was disappointing so I will give you that but the rest is you putting your own spin and even making up quotes to suit your agenda. Just say you still don't think Ward will fight him as you have a right to your opinion but don't ignore all the things Ward has done that suggest he will fight Kovalev.

You're one. You're a concern troll. Oh, you're so concerned the fight isn't happening despite all the evidence pointing to the fight actually happening. Date, venue, PPV is set. But so concerned Ward will be the one to pull out.

              Green K'd

...... You should add GGG vs Saunders to that list too

Oh ya? How many tune ups does Ward need? All these are tune ups for Kovalev aren't they? First press conference for the supposed mega fight? No Ward.. All that what u just said would have worked had Ward not been fighting the likes of Brand (fighting genuine threats instead) & actually showed willing to promote the fight with Sergey! You need Brand & Smith to tune up for Sergey? Ward is cashing out & I suspect he's going to pull a diva moment out of his ass & put the fight in jeopardy before it ever really got going. Hope I'm wrong..

Are you dense or something? Kovalev fan. I want to see it happen. You are incorrect. Learn to read..

You think that seals it? Ward pulled out of a fight with Pavlik in January 2012.

Ward pulled out of a fight with Brand in 2015.

Ward has form & like I said he seems lack lustre & the presser no show doesn't fill me with confidence. This is their first PPV events, Ward should be bending over backwards to promote the fight. DUVA DOESNT EXACTLY SOUND THAT CERTAIN AT THE PRESSER EITHER! Citing we have an agreement & she doesn't know if there is a problem with ward! Why reiterate that? Shouldn't that be plain anyway? You can't blame fans who know of Wards amateur dramatics for being a bit sceptical..
