He feels less afraid secure with a home crowd behind him. Ward is no warrior.
You think HBO is trying to get them to not fight so they can air the Manny fight on PPV on the 5th since they do not want PPv fights so close together?

      I voted yes.
      VADA testing was agreed to.

Kovalev is a clean athlete. There is no reason to accuse or even suspect him, other than prejudice because he's from Russia.

he didn't VADA test, USADA test or any -ADA testing for 2 of his last 3 fights, including the last one, so we can't say for sure.

Povetkin was allegedly clean too. So was Sharapova. SO was... you get my point.

yeah cant rule it out, can see ward going down the 'im the A side route' (even though he isnt) and demanding he has it in oakland or theres no fight. Dont think ward is a person who likes risks, you can see that in his fighting style and you can see that in his matchmaking.

If it doesn't, Ward will never live it down. I think it will and it won't be in Oakland. If I were Kovalev, I' refuse to fight him in his own hometown. Vegas or New York is more than reasonable. He's the champion. he could say Russia or bust. I think it will happen in Vegas at T mobile. At this point, Ward has to.

and let's not forget Floyd's IV injection.

Ward refused testing for the Super Six and for Rodriguez, and he was working with PED guru Victor Conte at that time.

So you're including ******* on your list of performance enhancing drugs? Also, an IV injection is not a failed drug test.

He will fake an injury imo. So he can stall. Then he will ask for another tune up. He is working hbo for easy money imo.

Well, the tiny trace of the non-steroid Povetkin tested for was well below a millionth of a gram, so it was NOT a failed test according to WADA rules.
