Of course. He can't move up to fight him, have his tune up to fight him, then not fight him. He'll never live it down.

cant see it happening, ward (and his fans) feels hes proven everything he needs to prove by winning super 6. He will protect his 0 now at all costs

I had the same feeling when wilder v povetkin was accounced, i really hope it happens but i wont believe it until the first bell rings.

I had a bad feeling ward will pick an 'injury'

This thread will probably get a lot of 'People are praying this fight won't happen' replys. I've say a few of those posts already in other threads. It seems to be the go to response to anyone who questions if the fight will go ahead.
Which is daft as i'm sure there is no one out there who doesn't want to see this fight.

The way the second half of Wards career has panned out, for one reason or the other, has threw up questions to me as to whether or not the fight will actually end up happening or not. I feel it's a fairly reasonable notion to question.

My feeling though, is that we will see the fight in November. Not after some bumps in the build up however.

I think Ward is insecure about fighting Kovalev in Las Vegas, even though he'll still have home country advantage.

He wants to have the fight in Oakland so he can have a personal referee there to permit him to use illegal tactics. He also wants to dictate ring size, gloves, etc.

He feels less afraid secure with a home crowd behind him. Ward is no warrior.
