You are dreaming if you think that Jacobs will fight Golovkin for less than half what Brook got paid.

That fight will never happen, and neither will Golovkin/Saunders.

And you are dreaming if you that the largely-untested relatively-unknown welterweight Kell Brook, can generate THREE TIMES more than Saunders/Jacobs..... that is utter nonsense.

Fact: in comparison to Hearn, the promoters of Saunders and Jacobs literally bring nothing to the table so the purses are exponentially lower

Fact: neither Saunders nor Jacobs are remotely interested in fighting GGG and have said so themselves

I don't dream about fights. Maybe that is one of the pre-requisites of being a true hardcore fan. But ,,,,, I can distinguish dreams from reality. You have to think that the reason that Brook is making close to 3 times Jacob's highest ever purse is because the fight will generate 3 times as much as Jacobs/Quillen generated. And it's REAL. It IS NOT A DREAM.

Now if Jacobs and Saunders want that kind of money or dream of that kind of money, that is all well and good. Nothing wrong with dreaming - we all do it - it's free entertainment and creates nice warm fuzzy feelings. But a realist will consider why Brook is getting $4 million [or Eubank could have got] and more importantly how Jacobs or Suanders will be able to realise a $4 million purse.

I.E .... who is capable of paying that amount and under what circumstances that promoter would be willing to pay that money.

If you do that you should quickly realize that the Brook situation has unique circumstances.

a/ Brook is well known in the UK and the fight will be made and shown in the UK
b/ Brook is with Hearn and Hearn is with Sky ppv.
c/ The boxing scene in the UK right now is unique. Many casuals and semi-hardcore fans willing to shell out for fights.
d/ Casual fans love to see strange matchups - so ww jumping to fight mw monster is an easy sell.

None of these apply to Jacobs or Saunders except a/ for Saunders.

Is it wrong to think Brook is probably a natural 154 pounder who boils down to 147? Nope. It's likely the reality based on his size and weight. Does that imply this fight isn't a massive mismatch? Obviously not, especially when all my posts call this fight exactly that (a pointless mismatch) and saying how ****** it is for Brook to go immediately into a Golovkin fight at middleweight without at least fighting at 154 and/or fighting lower level middleweights first. But of course your ADD ass can't focus on everything else I said so instead you can only focus on one line. Not even a why you bring up Canelo since he literally was the WBC and lineal middleweight champion with Golovkin as his mandatory.

1) I do not believe that the platform will make much difference, punters will either buy that fight, or they won't..... and Saunders/Golovkin is a much better fight than Brook, much easier to market. Can Golovkin draw, or is he relying on Brook ? LMAO

2) Same thing..... they offered Jacobs "Quillin money"..... so, can Golovkin draw more than Quillin, or what?

Brook is simply not a draw.

I have never heard ANYONE refer to Kell Brook as a lucrative opponent.

e.g.
Brook is not even remotely close to Khan's level..... and Khan is not even remotely close to Canelo's level..... Brook has never fought on PPV, and has only ever fought Shawn Porter..... and that fight was 2 years ago.

Also, it is a ****-fight..... Kell Brook has NO CHANCE of winning.

I do not believe that Kell Brook would generate more than Saunders..... he is a much more marketable opponent for Golovkin.

And I also do not believe that Jacobs/Quillin could generate more than GGG/Jacobs.....

..... you will never convince me that 1.5mil and "Quillin money" are the best offers that Team Bull**** could come up with.

Their 30 days weights don't surprise me too much as most boxers shrink down to their weight class. Golokin overall is thin for the most part and not really muscular other than his arms. Plus he seems to stay in shape in most of the pictures that are posted of him so anything under 170 isn't shocking. I figured Brook would be closer to 168 at this point however. Come fight night I think they will weigh about the same but that isn't the problem I see Brook having. Golovkin will be so much more naturally stronger, powerful, and skilled than anyone Brook has faced in his career by far.

It's the most K2 can offer them for a fight in the US - they're a business, not a charity

Of course, Uncle AL could always pitch in to help with Jacobs and/or Warren could stage the Saunders fight in the UK

After all, if they are such "lucrative" fights (ha ha), they should be jumping at the chance TO PAY THEIR FIGHTERS ridiculous amounts of money.

Fact is that Haymon is happy to see Jacobs fight for a third of the money against Mora whilst Warren is sitting idly by whilst Saunders potentially commits professional hari kari by ****ting on GBP and Fat Dan
