Gotta give GGG some slack he was massively wrong when he said Brook was too small months ago, Brook has shown up a lot of people on here wrong.
GGG said that he was surprised at how big Brook was when he met him in person....the GGG haters thought that GGG was full of BS....Brook would likely wipe the floor with Canelo....this is a great matchup and not a mis-match in the least...GGG will likely win, simply because he is the best boxer/puncher in the world, except for maybe Lomanchenko and Chocolito....

This is a BBC news report on the fight. Kell looks in good shape on his first day back in the gym.

Does anyone have Brooks latest fight night weights?
Brook weighed 175 pounds on fight night against Porter....Brook is huge....this is not a mis-match in the least....Brook would likely beat any middle weight, except for GGG....all the middleweights have been ducking GGG...and all the welterweights have been ducking Brook....Brook has balls....and let's forget Andre Ward.....Ward called out GGG one hour after it was announced that GGG had a contract to fight Lemieux.....this can be checked out for a fact in the transcripts......second of all GGG's team had been trying to come to an agreement for two years with Ward....the problem was first Ward was in trouble with law suits with Goossen...they were suing each other....Goosen won the lawsuit three times.....then Ward signed with Roc Nation....the first thing Roc Nation said was that Ward needed two tune up fights before they would let Ward fight GGG...then Ward fought one fight at 172 pounds....GGG and his team got tired of waiting for Andre Ward to make up his mind what he wanted to do...then look at the numbers....Ward fought in his own home town and he could not put 4000 people in the arena....Ward fought at the Citizens centre and there were only 3000 people....every single word I have put here can be checked out by anybody simply by looking at the transcripts....and if that is not enough for you then here is a video by Tom Loeffler.....either Loeffler is lying or Ward is lying....only problem with that is that the transcripts will back up Loeffler and not Ward....http://www.fighthype.com/news/article23436.html?

Meanwhile he was prepared to go up to 168 fight Ward's best win - Froch. Yet he is a coward according to posters on here. He has spoken about fighting DeGale next in December. Ramirez has been mentioned as well. Whenever that is announced 90% of these trolls will vanish into the night.
I like how you used that Mayweather-Canelo fight as a point of reference....you're missing a key thing there.

Why do you think I posted that pic to begin with?

Golovkin and his team made an excuse to not fight Ward...they are some of the most contradictory people in the sport.

They will never fight Jacobs you sucker, because lil'G already has the WBA "super" belt..... lil'G wants to lame his way to Hopkins defence record without taking any risks and without fighting top class opposition..... he will never fight Danny Jacobs because a) he doesn't need to, and b) he will not fight a risky opponent.

That is why they offered Jacobs what he got paid for Quillin.

Smarten up kid, Kell Brook is making 4mil because they wanted to fight Kell brook.

            You been lied to, dumbass
Didn't Danny get $1.5M for fighting Quillen? WTF?? What is wrong with $1.5M? Thing is Danny and a bunch of others know that they will get Ko'd by Golovkin - so they price themselves out. "Gotta have $3M for such a dangerous fight" - what have either Saunders or Jacobs done to deserve $3M??

For Eubank not even $4M was enough. Brook has shown up Eubank and I wonder how much DeGale will want to fight GGG? Lets not even mention Lara? I'd fight Golovkin for $200K - take my ko in the first 20 seconds. [write my will just in case]. These other guys are just plain greedy. Nothing wrong with wanting to be paid well but when you sneer at $1.5M things have gotten out of hand.

Good to see the non-photoshoped image, unlike the one in an independent message thread.

It's funny how people are boosting Kell Brook like he fought the best of the best at welterweight....BOFL

I mean sure he's heavier than GGG right now but that doesn't mean he's in fighting condition. Brook did used to weigh pretty heavy but I don't think he was this heavy.

                    Oh, and Canelo at 155.

Not saying any of those guys would definitely beat Golovkin, except Ward.

3 of those guys wanted that fight, 1 wanted it - rightly-or-wrongly - under his terms only..... but none of those fights happened.

And I don't believe the pile of silly excuses they rolled out for Ward, Mora, Lara..... the only reason why you furnish a pile of silly excuses, is because you do not have 1 genuine reason.

And I don't believe they tried to make Jacobs/Saunders either.

They offered Saunders 1.5mil and they offered Jacobs "Quillin money"..... Kell Brook is making 4mil because they wanted to fight Kell Brook.

                    Mora ???????? And not Jacobs.

I don't get what you are trying to say. I see the picture. Yes - he didn't want to fight Ward at 168. And K2 never said he would. They said they would fight any fighter between 154 and 168. They never specified at what weight they would fight Ward. Not wanting to give all advantage to top three p4p is natural. Canelo was never rated as highly as Ward. Not to say he wasn't rated as good, he was. But Mayweather was not going to fight him at 154. My point is that when you move out of your weight class you assess the danger and plan [agree terms] accordingly. Ward's best win is Froch. Golovkin was willing to fight him at 168. Froch declined. Golovkin showed willingness and Froch saw danger.
