Firstly, there are different styles of boxing. I prefer insiders and mid range fighters over ones with fancy footwork. Hell, I don't even mind those. For example, Lomachenko has great footwork but he is not gun shy. Now his fights are pretty interesting. Crawford isn't half bad. Canelo is a smart counter puncher. Joshua is a great all around fighter with semi decent footwork. The fighters I have problem with are ones who are gun shy. Are they skilled? Definitely and quite calculated. Are their fights entertaining? Not for me.

MMA is hardly limited in skills. They have to master several different arts and go through much more than boxers. You are just a salty fanboy. Don't cry once this ppv fails. NSB is perfect for crybabies. "waah waaah he won't pay for ppv waah waah ggg is bum"

Gun shy as in how? How would Ward be gun shy exactly? Because he doesn't waste punches? He seemed to be throwing plenty of shots last night right?

Secondly, I know what mma fighters have to do. My experience is several MAs has shown me plenty. If they have to go through much more than boxers, why do mma fighters get their asses kicked when it comes to stand up? Oh, and do you call BJJ "fighting like a man"? Do you know it takes over 10 years to get a black belt in BJJ? I'm sure you'll say you knew lol. Either way, we're talking about boxing. Lomachenko is my favorite fightER, but if you think he wouldn't box and move vs a puncher then you are much more ignorant than I first though. All lomachenko does is MOVE idiot.

Lastly, do you think I care in the least how many ppv buys this fight does? I don't. This is 2 top fighters going for lhw supremacy. This isn't triple asswipe vs David "dumbass" Lemieux or some other C level fighter. Btw, why do you like GayLoveKin and Lomachenko? Ones a real champ, the others a real chump.

It is not about wasting punches, it is about going for the kill which he doesn't do.

What are you even talking about? MMA has a booming audience because of how entertaining it is. Sure some arts are more boring than others, but the versatility of MMA makes it quite full of suspense. Everyone has to have some idea in everything.

I think you completely missed my point. I was saying how great Loma's footwork is but how he is completely different to Ward because he knows how to go for the kill. He isn't scared of lighting up his opponents completely. His footwork is topnotch but his offense is world class as well. Footwork isn't bad, it requires a lot of training and skill and I mean a lot. Footwork without sufficient attacking prowess is boring. End of the day, boxers have to entertain their crowds.

I don't care how much ppv it does. I provided my analysis on why going ppv is a wrong decision for these fighters. I don't buy ppv's based on how many are bought. People buy them depending on how interesting the fight might turn out to be. GGG is a skilled fighter and if you disagree with that, you either never watched his fight, you are a shameless fanboy who is full of bias, or you are just pretty crap at understanding boxing. I will go with the second.

It was a bull**** offer for PR only. Ward never had any intention of fighting Golovkin. Now the moment of truth is approaching. Ward will either duck out of fighting Krusher or he well get KO'd. Tough choice to make.

The required contract for that fight would have to be inked sometime in the near future...

I only needed to be more specific, because some posters here reiterated that there exist a signed contract for this fight.

... And I do want to see Kovalev-Ward happening asap... I would have wanted to watch it in the fall of 2015 (and not after a number of pointless tuneups)...
