The fact that this article's title reads "Sergey Kovalev vs. Andre Ward PPV Officially Announced, 11/19" only shows what we've all seen last night: i.e. both fighters agreed, while face-to-face, to meet in the ring on Nov 19...
The required contract for that fight would have to be inked sometime in the near future...

When did they start "officially" announcing fights that aren't signed? Every post regarding Ward Kovalev that he makes has tried to paint a picture of the fight not happening. I think folks were hoping Ward would give them a sound bite that would indicate he was waffling on fighting Kovalev in the post fight interview.

Exactly. I've been asking him and a few other people on here to stop talking smack and put their account on the line. Same thing different day. Whenever Mayweather wasn't fighting an opponent he was ducking. When he scrubs them they are no good. They know more than likely Ward will win a clear UD and the thought of that is frightening.
