He got stopped at the worlds though and didn't even make the semifinal now. Great career nonetheless.

I don't even know who Aloyan is, I just found out he is fighting at 52.

I guess right now their biggest hope for gold is Dunaytsev and he's got a good draw he won't fighting Toledo or Sotomayor until the final and Toledo and Sotomayor most likely will fight each other.

So right now we have Cuba, Kazahstan and Uzbekistan that are still standing the strongest. Azerbeidjan is close. We have 4 or 3 Americans left still, let's see how they do.

I'm not mad that Russia is looking bad at these Olympics.
This should teach them a lesson. Give your young talented boxers a chance!!!
Start building up the younger guys instead of what they're doing now.
Ilya Popov, 16 year old Russian, and few younger guys can be special if they build him up properly.
That's what Russia has to start doing instead of letting these guys get old. Russia has so much young talent so it shouldn't be a problem to start fresh every Olympics. Or almost fresh, because it's not like all of them will turn pro or something.

Chebotarev was going to lose to Alimkhanuly anyway had he gotten through.

The only one I wanted to see shine at these Olympics was Dunaytsev anyway. The rest of the team wasn't all that. Aloyan is also pretty solid and can potentially get the Gold or at least a medal.

I don't know man 52 is toss a coin, this is the deepest division in boxing.

                      You have:

                      Elvin Mamishzada
                      Muhamad Ali
                      Veitia
                      Muhamad Ali
                      Daniel Asenov
                      Satibayev
                      Vargas
                      Finol

                      and the list goes on.

It's like I'll say Elvin should be the favourite he won the Worlds and he is the biggest puncher but I don't know, this division is so competitive. 69 kilos too but this one I think is the most competitive.
