Just thought, with that schedule (in post #1) coming from official Rio website then it's probably set in their time zone.
If that's the case, it worth noting that Brazil are 4 hours behind the UK, and 1 hour ahead of America (Washington).

      EDIT
Here is the uk time from the BBC website : http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/olympics/.../sports/boxing

As I said before, If Cuba doesn't win at least 5 gold medals this year it will be a massive failure.

They are NOT using headgear? Wow. This could get to be very interesting.

Is there a TV schedule for this? How much of the boxing is going to be televised?

Joe Ward is an Irish light-heavy we've been expecting big things from for some time. Only 22, but is a two time European champion and won silver in Doha last year. La Cruz the only man to beat him. Conlan and Barnes are experienced operators and shouldn't be too far off the medals either.

Opening ceremony out of the way. Let's get this party started.

Can I have an honest opinion on Ndam or Ruenroeng winning outright?.

I like the new scoring criteria and removal of headguards. Only concern is that cuts could derail everything.

It's a huge gamble. A clash of heads could end a guy's tournament.

Not good. He's in a division with arguably the best amateur boxer in the world right now. Don't know enough about the lil guys to know Ruenroeng's chances.
