If those are Golovkin's words, then with all due respect he is an illiterate and poorly-educated person, despite the fact that evidently English is not his first language. It sounds like a very uneducated elementary school kid from the streets, who just cannot get his point or ideas across because he just doesn't have the skills to articulate his ideas properly. He should just keep quiet and let his handlers do the talking for him, until he gets better at being more articulate and making more sense. Just my very particular opinion. A great boxer, but a poor speaker IMO.
He's a poor speaker in English, because it's not his first language. It's actually the fourth language he had to learn after russian, kazah, and german.

    I wouldn't say he's uneducated. He's a very educated and polite person. He's a nice guy.

I want to see how you would talk in russian for instance. I bet you would look very limited. Assh0le.

By the way, how many languages do you speak? Are you highly articulate in your fourth?

I didn't notice your post there. I've just repeated it basically.
By the way, in Buenos Aires at the moment drinking máte and took boat cruise along Rio de Tigre. Mate got pick pocketed, dumb **** had phone in back pocket - asking for trouble! Talking to a local, he was surprised I know of Nicoline Locche.
Also wtf is the go with everyone starting drinking at midnight and finishing at around 6am? Hhahaha. You guys are crazy.
Next up, boxing at Olympics. Not competing, but was tempted to throw mouth guard in out of habit.

"It’s not respect to boxing, not respect to fans. Last fight with Khan, who came from two divisions down, this is not respect. It’s a business fight." ~ Gennady Golovkin

Not sure how educated Golovkin is or how many languages he speaks but I am convinced that the words "hypocrite" and "contradiction" are foreign to him.

You have a valid point there...Turns out he's not perfect like you and I. Hopefully not too much more of that crap, although i don't think he would have said any of it if he remotely thought he'd be fighting a ww in the future.
There is an excellent thread on b0xingnews24 called 'I am a boxing manager' which everyone should read as it gives good insight into the business side of boxing. Not many people on here understand much about this side, myself included. Comes up first hit in google.

Are you training at some good boxing gym?

Yeah.. we didn't know Locche was so known outside Argentina.

It sucks that you got pick pocketed =/ yeah, you have to be careful with that. Still it's not that bad. They strike once and then you learn :P

No one is perfect and it doesn't matter what he knew about his future opponent(s). What matters is that if he believes a Middleweight fighting a Welterweight is disrespectful to boxing and the fans of boxing, then he should not do it. No one is forcing Golovkin to fight Brook. Golovkin has made that choice so he will have to deal with the backlash. He is constantly putting his foot in his mouth and contradicting himself. That would not be a problem if he chose his words more carefully and/or actually believed what he says.

Boxing is business but Golovkin is on record criticizing Canelo's "business decision" by fighting Khan. Can't have it both ways.

Bottom line is that you cannot publicly criticize a peer for their behavior and then agree to do the exact same thing 3 to 4 months later.
