you can say what you're gonna do all day, its up to the fighter to apply it or follow the game plan

I remember the epic lead up to Hatton vs mayweather....we all knew how the fight would play out.....Hatton would pressure, Mayweather would box...what team hatton didnt expect was Mayweather being just as skilled inside as he is outside, and thats whats going to shock Kov and JDJ imo....good boxers always have their physical strength and inside game be underrate....Look at lil azz sweet pea...he had to be washed up and past prime to get pushed around...and it took a 5'11" huge welterweight in his prime to do it.

the thing is, Ward can adapt very fast mid fight, give different looks. Instead of downplay his skill, he might want to be game planning.

If Kov cant get him out of their in the first 6 rounds, its gonna be down hill from there.

On paper it might seem that way. But Kov is a bad dude. I think it's going to be highly competitive, pretty technical, and very tension filled. I slightly favor Ward, but I want to see how he reacts to Kov landing a flush shot

Pretty sure he's not planning on taking that shot. Ward has the right style to beat Kovalev but I can't help but notice how he slows down late. He'll need to slow Kovalev down even more so or things could get hairy for him.

you dont have to share the same opinion as me but you crap on your own opinion when you cant support you position or things you say with EVIDENCE

thats like me saying Khan has a great chin....how so? he has been knocked out 3 times and dropped several

also like me saying Postol is a big puncher.....how so, look at the evidence....he doesnt have a huge punch and a low ko ratio

proof is in the pudding. everyone has an opinion, difference is, some opinions are more logical than others

so thats what it looks like when you call a guy chinny who hasnt been dropped or seriously hurt in 11 years...it look silly or like you're reaching.

likewise....if he can take his shot and still be elusive, idk how kov can win

it'll a lot more tactical than some fans would like

Those are terrible analogies. I feel bad for you because you come up with great premises (that I tend to agree with) but then go over and beyond to make your point without listening to others. Not going to keep repeating my points. Collect your e-trophy and carry on.

Of course they are terrible analogies to a guy that calls a 12 year pro whose only been dropped once "chinny"

Next time just make a statement supported by evidence

I did. You just ignored it and read what you wanted (if you read at all).

Cool interview with Montell Griffin, not so much for what he's saying about Ward/Kovalev, but his backstory on Roy. He really felt Roy messed up his body coming back down to LHW.
