The fact that he hasnt fought anybody is irrelevant in this situation, canelo still ducked him.

The irony of saying he fought nobody as he throws a belt at him.

Like he said, he ould be giving away an unnecessary advantage for the approval of guys who are going to buy his ppv regardless. The fight isn't mandatory anymore, so I'd make it to my advantage at this point as well. Whose begging for fights, and who can't go a day without a new challenge? Then we know who has to be a little more flexible

It's abundantly clear that Canelo is avoiding a beat down courtesy of GGG, weak resume or otherwise.

not really a huge advantage is it of having the fight at 160, canelos massive come fight night, probably bigger than GGG. Was a middleweight champ, he didnt want to fight golovkin cause he didnt fancy it, remember reading GGG used to have the better of him in sparring so canelo probably knows he cant win, not much more to it than that. People are naive to think its happening end of next year, they are just delaying there excuses hoping that GGG loses, steps up in weight or that there is another route they can take

And you have been given gift decisions in the past Canelo.

looks like canelo is getting angry haha but he did this to himself. You dont agree with the sanctioning body (WBC) to fight the champion (When he is the mandatory spot) after a interim bout (obviously not confident enough). You then knockout a natural lightweight that is already chinny (brag about it then talk smack about GGG). You then realise GGG is not fazed at all he even sees this as a sign of weakness picking a obvious mismatch to boost his confidence. Canelo realises this then vacates his belt when he has no way out (losing respect not only for his fans but the boxing community)
As the great Teddy Atlas said "coaches are like good liers, they say things to boost their fighters confidence". I really do think his coach was honest with him when he had to fight GGG. There is no way Canelo beats GGG right now that is why they are waiting so long.

It is a shame really. All canelo says is "he has not fought anyone"

Well canelo if that is the case then you have nothing to worry about. He is only the undisputed middleweight champion hahaa
