Its funny you say that.. HBO isn't paying jack compared to what Wlad & RTL makes.. Wlad generates a purse of nearly 20-30mil$ (15-5 with Fury, 15 a piece with Haye) & most of it is handled by RTL.. HBO airs his fights on regular HBO & not even PPV, so HBO is just his US broadcasting partner..

Hardcore GGG fans wonder why no one respects them....
They clutch onto anything, ANYTHING that may excuse Golovkin from fighting this guy, or anyone with a hope. Meanwhile, they spend the rest of their time defending the low-quality fights GGG takes. Even GG fans aren't defending Golovkin anymore, it's just the obsessive ones with personality disorders that are making thousands of posts defending the guy.

GGG is a big boy. He can handle Lara. Have some faith in him. Instead of being chickenshyt fans, why don't you get enthusiastic about GG finally proving himself? Or, are Canelo's leftovers too challenging for GG in your minds?

There was lot's of calls on here for GGG's team to make a move on Lara. Now Haymon has been contacted about some of his guys for future fights..it appears to be '[Lara] wants to rack up the number of defenses at 154', 'There's other guys at MW..like BJS & Jacobs', 'The purse needs to be a career high'. 'Can GGG fight on Showtime?', 'It's not a simple fight to make'.

Not so clear cut now.
And people wonder why Lara (with his history) is taken with a pinch of salt when calling out anyone and everyone.

I like Lara, i've took abuse on here for being a fan. The fight if it happened wouldn't be a bad thing at all. But the agenda on here from the usual crew that GGG was ducking Lara was cringeworthy to listen to.

1) You don't understand what a straw man argument is so please do a little reading before using the term again.
2) Maybe you haven't read the thread but there's dozens of reasons being given as to who Lara is supposedly not worthy. Inexplicable how your take-away is that everyone is clamoring for the fight. Pure delusion.

Victor Salazar I will probably avoid your articles in the future if you don't fix this one. You are stating things that have been debunked. You said the theory that Lara can't fight on HBO has been debunked by Haymon letting a few of his B-team fighters fight on HBO, or Khan because Haymon was protecting Floyd & Garcia and he got a big payday from Canelo, as if that has any relevance to Lara who he's probably protecting to cash out again JRock or Jacobs.

Yet, Lou Dibella was asked about this very fight, Lara-GGG, and said there would be "TV problems. So it hasn't been debunked at all! In fact that theory has been CONFIRMED by Dibella saying there would be TV problems. So literally the OPPOSITE of what you wrote to be true, is true. If you don't fix the article to reflect that, I won't be able to trust anything you write in the future, and I don't think I'm alone in that. You can't miss a major piece of information that contradicts the point of your article and then not fix it. You should be writing articles asking why Haymon still won't let his marquee guys fight on HBO, instead of writing about Lara-GGG when Dibella said there would be "TV problems." Figure out why the "TV problems" still exist post Caenlo-Khan. That's a story. But don't pretend the issue doesn't exist, and write about this, when Dibella says the issue does exist, and he would know better than anyone except for Haymon.
