Write something about Murray, Willie Monroe Jr, Dominic Wade even Lemiux and see how it will only get a max of 50 replies.

So let's be fare, you may not like his style but you care... a lot.
Nobody bring up Lara though except in some misguided way to hate on Ggg, and there a LOT of that. His fights don't get much traffic, and after Canelo even most Cuban posters gave up on him

they did exactly the opposite of calling somebody out in the media. they contacted haymon about making the fight in the future.

decubas has openly said that he's never asked haymon to contact loeffler or the networks about the fight. and he's admitted that he's never made the call himself.

lara's twitter account, run by that guy, was notorious for calling people out when they had fights signed. it means nothing to call somebody out in the media. fighters do it for publicity. decubas manages lara. if he really wanted to make that fight for reasonable money they'd have already fought.

decubas isnt' as dumb as he looks. you saw him start to shake a bit when they started to talk about the angulo fight. and you statred to hear him scoff a bit when they started to talk about a million dollars, which is the absolute zenith payday for lara unless the fight is on PPV.

they'd take the fight, but only for a career high payday and on ppv. and the guys who hate golovkin, and challenge him to fight lara, wouldn't even buy the thing

Good post. That pretty much sums it up.

        • He's delusional if he thinks he's getting $5 million

          • How much some fighters would "charge" GGG in order to meet him into the ring:

-- Chavez Jr. initially agreed on $7million, but he ducked eventually...
-- Billy Joe Saunders: $5 million...
            -- Peter Quillin: $5 to $10 million (?)...
-- Chris Eubank Jr: at least £3 million.
-- Kell Brook: the same as the above...
            -- Erislandy Lara: $5 million...

[later edit: Ward said he offered GGG 50-50 -- while he is making about $2million as per tune-up, I wonder just how much those 50% would have meant in Warde's mind...)

              What am I missing?

He doesn't want to face GGG, he wants a retirement fund. I bet you he will not take the fight when its offered for realistic money.

Wow. Even the PPV queen Mayweather didn't offer that kind of money. Maidana got a mere $1 million in his first fight. Those figures are closer to what Pac opponents' got. I mean is Golovkin the new Pacquiao now? Those are more like duck moves rather than actual figures.

                • Did they say they asked about Lara AFTER making the Brook fight? You can't make this stuff up.

Similar to Ward offering a fight AFTER team GG had agreed to fight Lemieux? And GG ducking Ward doe.
