why are you bringing up Ward? that doesn't make this any better or acceptable. Ward unfortunately has to take fights like that because GGG seems too afraid to fight him.

I said the same thing about HBO and the Ward/brand fight when it was announced. You weren't complaining then.

It's Golovkin's fault that Ward is still fighting tune-ups? LMFAO!

GGG 's career is 95% tune ups with 3 more on the way. Of course you like to jack off when GGG gets easy wins so you aren't going to complain.

Look dude, ward/brand and ggg/brook are not fights we should be getting. Lets agree this is HBO's fault and fights like these hurt the sport more than they help.

So oscar lied to people to sell the khan fight

Lying to someone is a sign of disrespect. It doesnt afford the luxury to be excused just because its for business

Hope the smith fight does terrible and i hope the casual fans in usa, particularly the mexican fans , have wisened up to the fact that Smith vs canelo is a **** fight

At least loefller is being up front and honest here even though its canelos fault the fight is not happening now

HBO are not funding GGG/Brook, it's an Eddie Hearn Matchroom promotion.

There is a real buzz for the fight in the UK. It will be on Sky PPV and it sold out the 02 Arena within 11 mins of tickets going on sale.

I don't think Brook has much chance of winning, but it will be an all-action fight while it lasts and the atmosphere in the arena will be electric. Fights like that don't hurt the sport.

              DeGale or Eubank in December

Jacobs or Rameriz in March (I think Jacobs is def. going to lose his title on the scale Sept. 9th when he fights in Reading, PA. They have same day weigh-ins)

Derevyanchenko in June in Astana, KZ - IBF mando and start of the energy expo

HBO has to approve all of GGG's opponents since he is signed to HBO. you know this so don't play ****** because you are a huge GGG fan.

Who cares if there is buzz in England. It's a bullsh-t fight. I get you are infatuated with GGG and this will be another easy KO win but don't pretend this is a decent fight.

Of course fights like this hurt the sport. Instead of getting 50/50 or 60/40 fights that unify MW and move toward unifying WW, we get a 10/90 BS fight where the result is 95% certain and doesn't impact either division.

Brook should be fighting Khan, garcia, thurman or bradley and GGG should be fighting Canelo.

He's (Jacobs) actually scheduled for Sept 9 for sure?

You started off in this thread by complaining about mismatches using up HBO money, and I pointed out that GGG/Brook was not being funded by HBO.

HBO approving a fight funded by Matchroom doesn't cost them anything, so your point was invalid re GGG/Brook. You're one playing ****** mate, not me.

I'm not infatuated with GGG, I'm a fan, same as you with Floyd and Crawford. I'm also a long time Kell Brook fan, going back to before he won his British Title. I'd rather he was fighting Garcia or Thurman than GGG, but still, I'm very excited about this fight and looking forward to seeing it. So are many others.

Don't underestimate Kell Brook. He's a huge guy for a WW, a damn good fighter and I think he really believes he can beat Golovkin.
