I'm a bigger Golovkin fan than Canelo, but this sounds just as bad as any excuse he has. Lets just call it what it is....these guys want to maximize their potential before a possible loss. Blame it on the orgs, the promoters or the managers...these guys are fighting for numbers not legacy.

if canelo takes the top fights he doesnt even make it to ggg...but regardless 3 more fights is a long to time to stick around mw waiting on some handshake agreement...I'VE SEEN THIS BEFORE...this camp reminds me of the little engine that could...we COULD fight canelo next year...*** outta here

I like the idea of GGG vs. Canelo for ALL the Belts in 2017. Saunders is on the next undercard so at least GB I s working with them.

Please dear God don't let GGG get upset in any of those 3 fights. Canelo's team just praying that he loses 1, so they can use that as am excuse to kot have to fight him.

And of course, that would mean an even longer wait for Canelo, if they do plan to go through with the fight, because he'd obviously have a rematch with that fighter.
