Why can't people have a civil discussion around here?

Maybe we can get our points across instead of resorting to call other people names like 5 year old kids.

That is the problem a lot boxing fans are having. Brook's team did not make Golovkin the offer, Golovkin's team brought this fight to Brook. There's a difference. That being said, now that the fight has been agreed upon, the WBA issue is just a formality.
They didn't make an offer to Brook. They took it because time ran out to look for another good fight that someone would likely drag out negotiations over months for and then go TheEubankWay. Haters always gotta twist their s... up with schwag. You think ANY SMW or MW wants to fight him? Ward ducked him, he flat out said no to HBO when they asked him. Golovkin's team made the 164 remark to make fun of Ward. There was no offer involved, Ward had cleverly offered GGG a fight after he signed for Lemieux. Get a new life, you're even bad at trolling.

I only agree with this for Brook's sake, other than that doesn't really matter. If Golovkin were to bust a knee and be incapable of finishing the fight and Brook were to win he should get the strap. We've seen three fighters recently fight for a 160lb title having never done jack shhh in the division so why not afford Brook the same respect.

Take your GGG panties off and get your emotions under control.

Kell Brook..."“When this fight got offered to me I accepted within minutes and I can’t wait..."

We don't know how negotiations with any 154 or 168 would have went because that didn't happen.

How could Ward possibly "duck" Golovkin when Golovkin has never been in Ward's division and is on record saying they rejected Ward's offer last July?

Please provide us the details of the offer that K2 sent to Andre Ward for a potential fight.

Fanboys like yourself think they are actually part of Golovkin's team. Hilarious!!!

You do realize that Brook was offered the fight by Hearn, not by Loeffler. Hearn literally whited out Eubank Jr's name and put in Brooks name.

re Ward: The first time, HBO wanted to make the fight. Ward said no (for whatever reason). The second time, everybody knows that Ward's offer wasn't a serious offer. The Lemieux fight had just been announced and they send in an offer where Ward would take several tuneups and they'd fight somewhere down the line. Stop pretending you don't know that.

Not sure if you are trolling or genuinely confused about the facts.

Whatever, you are wrong in what you say there. Kell Brook was talking about being offered the fight by his own promoter, Eddie Hearn, not by GGG's team.

Hearn contacted Golovkin and offered him a fight with Chris Eubank Jnr. Golovkin accepted Hearn's offer and signed a contract to fight Eubank, who is the British MW champion.

When Hearn had problems getting Eubank to sign, he offered the fight to Brook instead. At no time did Golovkin or his team try to make a fight with Brook themselves. They just accepted him as a replacement for Eubank.

Yes I realize Hearn offered Brook the fight that Eubank was offered. However, was Eubank not still in negotiations when Hearn offered Brook the same deal? Didn't Brook agree to Golovkin's terms and not vice versa? I don't see anyone reporting that Golovkin agreed to the same terms that Vargas agreed to. You don't really believe that K2 wasn't notified that Hearn would be offering the deal to Brook? Correct me if I'm mistaken, but have you read one article that state or implies that it was Golovkin that accepted this fight in minutes when offered or was it Brook that did the accepting?

Once again, please provide the details of the offer that K2 made to Andre Ward for a fight against Golovkin.

The deal Roc Nation sent to K2 was for a tune-up and then the two were to fight. K2 turned it down because they wanted the Cotto/Canelo winner.

How exactly could Hearn offer Brook a Middleweight title fight if K2 and Golovkin had not already agreed to Brook being a potential opponent? Key words, "They accepted Brook as a replacement".

Now tell us what 154 or 168 boxers were contacted before 147 lb Brook was accepted as a replacement for Eubank Jr.

I do hope you see the seemingly contradictory statements you're making. You started off saying GGGs team made the offer to Brook. Now you're conceding that it was Hearn, not Loeffler, that made the offer to Brook. Since Hearn is Eubank's promoter, you could accurately say it was 'Eubank's team' that made the offer to Brook. Further, its not just 'GGGs terms' that Brook agreed to. They were the terms agreed upon by K2 and Matchroom. Terms that Eubank did not want to agree to
