If they wanted to help him cheat, they would have turned a blind eye to the IV, no? Why would USADA risk it's reputation for Floyd Mayweather when, if they were willing to do that for money, there is a smarter way to do it. Come on...think!

That is what USADA did. They turned their heads the other way by giving Floyd that RETRO TUE.

How can a guy who can drink water and whose weight was stable for 30 days need an IV?

USADA instead creates a paper trail knowing that they just opened up the floodgates for WADA to investigate due to being alerted by the lab that traces of an IV bag were found. Yep, USADA puts it's head on the block instead of just saying, if you want to cheat, it's on you, but we won't allow ourselves to be proven to be complicit at all.

You can do better than this, can't you?
Sorry but that is a lousy excuse.

AGAIN, look at Lance Armstrong's story. Lance had very highly suspect situations and still got top dogs to help him out.

Lance's results by the LAB came back positive!!!

So he got caught with PEDs and they still helped him out. They even allowed a RETROACTIVE prescription!!!

The quirk was contract stating that the fighters could receive Tues without disclosing it to the commission or the other fighter lol.

Didn't I just say they don't wanna help him cheat? But because they guy is employing them, they're not applying the same standard they would in a supervised setting. That they would even agree to a Tue nondisclosure clause tells you everything you need to know.

You are flat out lying. Not on purpose, but because you are misinformed. Everything about the TUE came from WADA's ISTUE that existed before the fight. The ONLY changes that were made were done by Pac's team and accepted by Mayweather. Stop spreading lies and do some research!

No, there's a copy of the contract posted that states that the contract supersedes Wada rules and such. So tell me about these changes PACs team forced?

But its beside the point, as disclosure is a nonissue in real OST, when there's an adversarial relationship between the testers and athlete. Unless you're talking large scale corruption like Rusada. But this is wrong on first principles, athletes hiring testers privately. It's wide open to abuse, who'd expect boxings premier hypocrite to take advantage?

I've looked at the contract. What you are saying doesn't have anything to do with it when, like I just told you, Pacqiao's team asked for those changes. The language that was put into the contract was AT THE REQUEST OF PAC's team and if not for it, the changes that Pac wanted wouldn't matter. It was accepted by Mayweather's team after that.

Like I said, you are misinformed.

Yeah they asked for any Tues, retroactive or not, to be disclosed to the opponent and commission. Real quirky demand, that. Doubt they meant 3 weeks after the fight, but whatever, it's clear what went down and all your desperate attemps at obfuscation are doomed to fail

                  • I think he did. That's why he had to be so methodical and calculated about when he fought so he could fit everything around it.

What you are failing to comprehend, over and over, is that the TUE procedure had nothing to do with Mayweather and everything to do with WADA's rules. Just because you are blinded by hate is no damn excuse. Go look at the ISTUE. This is not rocket science.
